Are you sure its not Patrick the Burger seller?
Finest match day burgers within 1.75 miles of the Brit, he deserves a contract by the club.

I thought he was almost non-existent when he was with us last time but it would be good to see how plays at this level - our level - that is Premiership level (still hasn't sunk in!)

He's a decent enough player but not as good as he once was, perhaps he could do a job for us though? he has the experience which may help. If we could get the Patrik Berger of old we could be pulling off a good deal. Still remember that belter he scored for Pompey a few seasons ago.

Who says he would be played as a winger anyway?
I see him being used in the hole behind the striker/s

Says the same thing in the Daily Star aswell, but it says that Sparta Prague and Slavia Prague are after him.

i have full faith in tp to bring in the right players for the job. i do hope that this story has no substance though. it would be a disappointing start to the summer, signing a player who is FAR past his best, looks completely off the pace every time i see him and i have always heard that he is a reet miserable cunt behind the scenes.

I cant see it happening, Pulis didnt play him in the championship so i wouldnt have thought he will do the buisness in the Premier. I would hope we could do better.

We will need a mix of younger and more experienced players, personally I think Pulis under- used him when he was on loan,he's a much better player than Hendrie ever was, his old head and passing ability could be a godsend to us in the Prem.

worth a punt iimo , he will offer experince from the top flight that we dont currently have , and he is class.
one problem - hes been linked with portsmouth in last weeks news of the world and the two prague clubs. He stated he wants to finish in his own country but feels he could hack another season in the prem and wants another crack.

Have to agree Simpson- we need the odd player like Berger
Big Sam got the best out of players in their twilight at Bolton- Is proven at this level and would be a decent squad member

I think it would be a good signing if true. His experience is vast and he is very skillful on the ball. Yes he is not as quick as he once was but he is very skilful on set pieces and would have a couple of goals in him.

If we were still in the Championship I'd say it was a good move, as a Premier League club though it just doesn't make sense to me. I quite agree if we like it or not the same as Griff, both Premiership rejects. I think he is going to get the better deals abroad.
