Watched the second half of this game on the telly. In that half of rugby league, I saw more passion and more excitement than I have seen at our ground all season. That is from players and supporters. Premier League = Mediocrity. We are all being conned.

I have supported the Warrington Wolves for a good few years now, the atmosphere is great, beer allowed in the stands, fans regularly sit together but the atmosphere is maintained! And the players go out every game with fight and passion.

Rugby Union is way better. Rugby league beats union for me. It's quicker and more exciting. Union is way to dull.

Our games against Wigan usually are and we always (touch wood) do quite well in the cup. We had and absolutely appaling start to the season but we are looking sharp again now, however I can't help but feel that we need to change Smith if we are going to win the grand final (sound familiar ) we always choke when it matters!

How come there are no Rugby League clubs from the Midlands,or is there? One or two scattered around - mainly in places where minor union clubs exist such as Nottingham. Always thought North Staffs would have been a great place for an expansion League club to exist but it never happened and the focus is now further afield with places like Toronto on board. It is a marvellous game to watch - but as another Warrington fan I can confirm it can be every bit as frustrating as the football.

Rugby league is still working class, whereas Union is mainly a posh man's game. I used to watch Warrington at the old Wilderspool ground, and saw the great Brian Bevan coming to the end of his career. There is a statue of the man near the new ground. Tough as old boots these lads, and football players could learn a lot from them. Stuart Pearce is very often at Warrington,,as he is apparently a good friend of Smith. Many of you may remember Alec Murphy, ex St. Helens and manager of Warrington for a good few years. He was always a very approachable man, and always had time for a word with the fans. Down to earth people rugby lads, and IMHO better for it!

Rugby League is a fast family based game as is Ice Hockey. I love both the above sports, and dont follow any particular clubs as I enjoy the game so much I am not really a fan of football i just love Stoke City and everything about the club

I always keep an eye out for Castleford. Not sure why. Maybe because the ground is dilapidated and the team are usually rubbish. However this season they are great.

Never been a real rugby fan even though Live only a couple or three miles from Warrington
Id offer this though
it is a game generally played by 'proper men' and not the 'play acting pansies' we are forced to watch week in week out
and, rules are enforced far more stringently in both codes ( apart from, the cases noted below)
and, there is a respect for the match officlals our game lost decades ago
However - to my eyes
League is FAR superior to union because at least, if you chuck the ball forwards (a forward pass)
in rugby league, sometimes play stops cos its a foul
in Union, chucking it forwards is now routinely allowed - you watch
Scrummaging in both codes is an absolute joke - even more so in union
(where the ball is fed to the front row every single time) right under the refs nose so , for me --- its rugby league again
However Association Football trumps both because,
I simply never could see the logic of:- running forwards whilst chucking an egg shaped ball backwards
