What harm could it have done to play him today instead of that useless Cameron?

What harm could it have done to play him today instead of that useless Cameron? Because he wouldn't have been willing to play in defence as soon as they crossed the half way line

I think the biggest problem was that we have no footballers in midfield. The likes of Affelay would have made a huge difference today. We just didn't have anyone who could use the ball.

If all our players were brilliant we could have won the league this year

It we had more points, we would be higher up the table.

There's a point to this though, what the fuck could have gone any worse if he was given the chances the other midfield options were given? Our midfield is a shambles most weeks without him.

But apparently hughes blew his top with him v wolves
I don't even like hughes but for me that perfomance was a wind up
I am no hughes fan but I would have dropped him after that... He was literally saying sell me or I will stink the place out.

Scenes when Hughes is sacked, Imbula stays and is our player of the season next season, then moves to Barca for 35 million...

Please don't tell me he couldn't have done any worse in that midfield?
There isn't an ounce of football between all three of them and our record signing with more footballing ability in his left toe nail can't even make the bench, never mind the team?
Fcuk off Hughes.

I think hughes was in the right ( first time for everything :-)) Me too Imbula is a lazy bastard, simply not tolerable in a deep lying central midfield role and he doesn't link well enough to play anywhere else, his first thought is not the pass.

I don't think he's lazy he just shouldn't play a defensive midfield role. He proved often enough last season he is up to the Premier League. He's one of the only players we have who plays with his head up and who runs at the opposition. Sadly no one else seems to go with him which leads to him being closed down and losing the ball.

He can't play CDM because he doesn't tackle or compete for aerial balls. He can't play box to box because the only time he runs is with the ball. He can't play No10 or attacking mid because he doesn't link and always runs with the ball. He can't play in an English midfield.
