I think Pieters and Cameron will be sold this window. Doubt it, more likely Walters, Ireland, Crouch well first. Ireland especially now we've upped a new contract, we can make money on a move instead of losing him free. Cameron and Pieters are vital to core squad depth according to Hughes highly unlikely to be transferred unless getting a player in or trade deal. I prefer my speculation tbh.

Correct decision, muni obviously struggled since he's been in at left back. Erik is solid, and the rest may have helped Sadly the rest hasn't helped, Pieters looked as hapless as ever.

he is just not good enough for the premier league at the moment. we need to replace him or he has to get fit and sort out his shortcomings. Replacement required asap

Hard to believe he's the same player who'd been ultra reliable in seasons past.

Sadly the rest hasn't helped, Pieters looked as hapless as ever. He did okay, at fault for one goal, but it was awful from the majority. I can't even say he did 'OK', he was as poor as he was before he was dropped. Muniesa wasn't great in the two games he played but he was better than Pieters has been recently. Hughes used to pick players on form when he first arrived but in the last season and a half that has changed and he clearly has favourites who have to be pretty wank to lose their place. Pieters has been in a prolonged dip of form for months now and became so wank that even Hughes had to act and drop him. In his absence we picked up 4 points in 2 games but in the next game he recalls Pieters who was as equally wank as when Hughes dropped him in the first place. Baffling.

Pieters is a fraud. Yet another goal gifted by him today. The sooner he's gone the better. Spends too much time looking for his family in the West stand. We must have the worst two full backs in the league by a distance.

The one thing we can't say about Pieters, and that is he is the worst full back ay the club, that title goes to a certain Mr. Johnson.
