Good move IMO. Muniesa has far from impressed and has failed to make the best of his opportunity . . . . again IMO.

Hope so, Muni has been pants. Whilst Eric is as dodgey as hell with crosses at least he can be trusted to Defend usually

Pieters is a full back. Muniesa, despite being a technically more accomplished footballer, is not.

Muni dropped for Pieters??Really??!! According to 90 mins!!You must be pissing me!! You're letting your heart rule your head buddy. Muniesa has been pretty poor since coming in at left back, he isn't one after all. Pieters should hopefully come back stronger after a rest and being dropped.

Muni has been poor but he's no left back.
Pieters should play tomorrow.

Correct decision, muni obviously struggled since he's been in at left back.
Erik is solid, and the rest may have helped

That could be last of Muni if he no longer wants to be a squad player, it seemed like Hughes was giving him his chance to stake a claim between now and the end of the season, especially with Eric struggling offensively. Unfortunately he just hasn't taken it, so I'm not sure where that leaves him anymore.
Hope the crowd now get behind Eric and stop drawing in a breath every time he prepares to cross as surely the pressure can't help him any?

Who would Sanchez rather be up against?. Pieters would be the more solid pick despite his weaknesses.

Why not give play Bardsley there and give Edwards a go at right back? Or even give Taylor a game, there's only one way we're going to find out if these players can cut it at this level.

Over their respective last two games at left back, Muni has been slightly less worse than Pieters so therefore, yes he's unlucky if he is dropped.

Muni at LB was the reason we didn't win at Bournemouth, unfortunately, as I like the guy.

Muni dropped for Pieters??Really??!! According to 90 mins!!You must be pissing me!! Muni was poor and left way to much space, he isn't the answer and the closest we have is Pieters, I'm not surprised.

We need two new full backs in The Summer. Why do I get the feeling that we'll go into the first game next season with Pieters and Johnson.

I don't give a fuck which one of them plays there they're both pretty shit.
Our left back situation is an absolute joke and how Mark Hughes can be happy with his options there is completely frigging mental.

Pieters is a solid defender but not the quickest and not great going forward
I think with sobhi in front of him he would be fine
And while we are at it we can have Bard's and arnie on the other side
But under no circumstances suggest this to mark hughes or he will kill you

Muni dropped for Pieters??Really??!! According to 90 mins!!You must be pissing me!! I really agree to this one if true as I really can't see Muni keep playing at left back as he is really shite there! Pieters is miles better as a left back, but needed to be put on the bench as he shouldn't take his place for granted! I've never been one of the Muni admirerers as I think he is a shit left back, an ordinary central defender and haven't seen enough of him as a defensive midfielder to make up my mind. Anyway I won't be sorry to see him go as there must be a lot of players out there who could do a better job than Muni in most positions. Sorry Muni, but to me you are at most Championship material.

I think Pieters and Cameron will be sold this window. I'd suggest there's little chance of either going. Cameron in particularly can cover 3 positions so wouldn't be someone I'd be getting rid of.

Muniesa's positioning is literally anywhere on the pitch. Drifts around far too much and we got done at Bournemouth twice because of it. I like a bit of freedom for players but he takes the piss. Oh and his crosses were somehow worse than Pieters

I think Pieters and Cameron will be sold this window. Doubt it, more likely Walters, Ireland, Crouch well first. Ireland especially now we've upped a new contract, we can make money on a move instead of losing him free. Cameron and Pieters are vital to core squad depth according to Hughes highly unlikely to be transferred unless getting a player in or trade deal.
