On BBC R5L just, Kelly Holmes (?), interviewing some Celta Vigo fans outside Old Trafford, "so what is the response back home? What are they thinking?" Celta Vigo fan replies "er... we live in Stoke on Trent! Haha we walked here" Of course, they had a giggle about that, back in the studio. Hey Celta Vigo fans!! ... do you read the oatcake? Did you really walk it there?! Any oaties know these good folk? GOOOOAAAAAAAARRRN CELTA VIGO!!!!!!!!!!!

Many English clubs are owned by foreigners, squad mainly made up of oversea players and even many foreign supporters so I like them to lose, especially against the less fancied clubs such as Celta. Bit different when it comes to our national team but I wasn't exactly devastated when we lost to Iceland.

Fair enough mate, I feel the same way about Vale, so see where you're coming from. I must have a greater sense of belonging to Stoke, than to England, I suppose.

Why are you so intimidated by someone who squeezed out his mums vag in a different part of the world than you? It's almost like you believe you chose to be English.

Bit different when it comes to our national team but I wasn't exactly devastated when we lost to Iceland. They're English clubs at the end of the day, whoever owns them or plays for them they can't pick them up and take them somewhere else and the majority of the fans are English so I'd rather they did well than a foreign club. I'm massively out of love with the international game in general but I favor England then if England go out a home nation and only root for my favorite style of play once there is no home interest. I'm never one for favoring underdogs as a neutral I just want to see the best teams who score the most goals.

Also you presume I don't like foreigners, wrong. I only have a problem with large numbers of immigrants causing areas to become ghettos and ones who are here who are undesirables. I dislike Uk undesirables too.
