Spurs to finish above Arsenal in the premier league
Every sports programme
every channel
Virtually every article
for approaching 36 hours now
Over and over, and over, and over, and over, and over
Trump could launch a nuclear strike on North Korea
and still - Tottenham Hotspur finishing above Arsenal would be the lead off article
It just exposes where the medias tiny little fucking minds reside
and - where they all reside - in truth
fuck them !

biggest football story ?????????????????????????????///
Chelsea sealing the title (effectively) at Everton
bigger story it galls me to say ?
Anthony Joshuas epic boxing match with Klitchko - not more compelling ?
and Do you bayern (with all due respect) not think they've run this london centric fuckfest of a story to fucking death ?
way, way, way beyond what was / is reasonable ?
two football clubs out of 92 ?
to the point of, being far more annoying than many other things I could mention

Unfortunately it is a fact that the media are driven by "Joe public", not by minority interests. 32% of the population live in London and the South East.

Rightio.

The point being, one story resulting from one London football derby, massively dominated pretty much all other
sporting coverage for, approaching 36 hours
Coming from a now, totally unbalanced sports media
1) Not Only SKY
2)BT Sport too
3 )and even the BBC (radio and TV)
unbalanced and biased coverage - and that's the real point you see
and to finish - Far too many London clubs are now in the premier league
like seagulls - they need to be 'culled'

Sadly the demise of Fleet Street and Wapping as the home of the news trade began 30 years ago, they just call out whatever they think will sell these days, there is no bias, a strong market focus but no regional bias.
If they haven't gone big on Vale going down its because they don't think anyone outside of a few streets in Burslem even cares.

It amazes me that people can get so wound up about stuff that doesn't matter.
Unless you're a woman obviously.

It amazes me that people can get so wound up about stuff that doesn't matter. Unless you're a woman obviously. They called it "Bread and Circuses" from way, way back when, and it keeps the populace from worrying about the other stuff that matters. So, how about that Spurs/Arsenal gladiator match?

The media will get a bit jizzy about the southern clubs because pretty much in my life time northern and midland clubs have been more successful both domestically and in Europe. They have to get excited as well because they have multiple 24 hour news channels to fill with shit which they then repeat until the next news story hopefully breaks

It would be exactly the same if it was Everton & Liverpool.

Wait until the Brighton jizzfest gets full momentum! "Play football the right way" repeat to fucking fade. It will be like Swansea all over again. Vomit inducing cack.

If you're waiting for some kind of media devolution to the regions, I'd think seriously about emigrating.

I always imagine him
Reading his posts aloud very
Slowly
Like a nervous father of the
Bride reading his speech from cue cards
And putting all the emphasis on the
wrong words.
Don't the bridesmaids look... *shuffle shuffle*

All this
piss taking
about the spaces
In the middle
of sentences
Is grossly unfair.
I find it easier to read Tony's posts
with all the gaps.
So I'm not complaining one bit.
I'm a full stop man myself
