Watch any team in the league bar 3 or 4 and you can see how they're trying to go about their own game every time they play
Some teams will sit back and try to nick a goal via a set piece, usually defensively sound, never lose by more than 2 goals Some teams will invite pressure because they look to counter Some teams will high press and force mistakes Some teams will keep possession at all costs and probe for an opening
It's obviously oversimplified and there's a lot more that goes in to winning a game but how do we play? We don't ever look defensively sound and it's not because we're high pressing and pushing players forward? We really have lost our identity, i sometimes get the feeling that even the players are unsure about where they should be and what they should be doing
We've got players playing in alien positions, players dropped when playing well, a record signing not even making the matchday squad (good look offloading someone who we don't even play), our best and only natural No.10 wallowing in Germany and an average squad age so high we should be getting government grants for taking them out on daytrips

There is a feeling of regression and not keeping up with the rest. Hull will also be a decent team next year under that management, should they stay up. Despite beating them we were totally overrun at times in that game and they were a vast improvement on the team that started the prem campaign We have to try and keep our captain and Indie in the summer and then see if we can have a go at replacing dads army. If we fail at the above we could struggle to get to the 40pt mark next season, but I also think Watford and Burnley may struggle and maybe 1 of the newcomers too I would possibly add West Ham to that group as well - Saturdays match was between 2 equally poor sides. As for us, we need to at least clear out the excess of below-par midfielders (Adam, Ireland, Imbula, possibly Whelan) and replace them with younger, more dynamic options to stand a chance to not be involved in a relegation scrap next year.

To me we look like Bolton the season before they went down. You could underlying issues, manager becoming clueless, reliance on old players, more recent signings all shit.
The reason I like marco silva is because in the short term we need a manager who can bring in a couple of players who will transform the dynamic of the squad.
Otherwise we are going down with this lot with the likes of shaqiri in the treatment room, bojan and imbula not in the squad.
It has all descended into a fucking mess, and worst of all is the total lack of any sort of tactics and game plan.
No sorry I've changed my mind, worst of all is turning up for a new season not ready to play until 2 months in
