Cut the guy some slack. He us immense and a marvellous asset of our club. He has also matured and will be even better gone to season, his critics on this site need to have a long hard look at themselves.

Most of their danger came from their right back, wasn't tracked by Arnie, has been useless in the last few games, Sobhi needs to start.

I agree about the finishing. Also good to recognise and acknowledge the effort and work rate that Arnie delivers.

does not stop him being the only other man I have ever truly loved ! Yourself being the other?

One decent, reliable, consistent striker and we would be an entirely different side.
Just seen their second goal - a header going wide, hits their offside player, bounces off Shawcross and goes in. Seriously this season can just fuck off.
That said, one decent finisher and the game would have been over.

best player in doing what? Creating chances, bringing others into play, skill, excitement, application, tracking back.

Arnie has missed far too many chances in recent weeks. He's great for a club like us but I just wish he could be a bit more clinical. Even a little bit would do. His finishing I'd actually class as poor. For the arsenal game i'd give him a kick up the arse and two choices. Id say 'Arnie, you're either left out i'm putting Sobhi in as you don't deserve to play in this one', or i'd let him start the game and with a minute gone on the clock sub him. He can't keep his place every week if he doesn't deserve it. This isn't me saying fuck him off either. It's me saying he needs to be kept on his toes more. Starting him every game even if he's had a poor game or two previous is doing nothing for him or us. That's Burnley, Swansea and now Bournemouth away where Arnie has missed sitters. For some reason away from home against average sides he struggles to motivate himself. At home it's a different story. I'd play him against Arsenal but let Sobhi have a crack against Soton

God I hate stoke fans at times Some don't deserve good players. The plastic fans have realy come out to play with some real idiotic statements. mmoaning about an 87th minute substitute decision is mind boggling to say the least. Defo pluck anything out of a good performance to have a dig at Hughes. Roll on the end of season, hoping the plastic fans melt into extinction. No doubt the friendly venues, the hotel rooms, the weather, the team selection, the pitch, the strips, all will be no good to the PLASTIC FANS. At least benji will have vanished until we lose a few games again

We outplayed them, looked sharp and with that little bit of luck would have been easy winners It sounds as though the 'Hughes Out' brigade are being rather unfair then ?..It wouldn't be the first time The stats.......7 corners to 0 in Stoke's favour and 14 goal attempts etc, doesn't look too shabby to me.... Anyway ,I predicted a score draw so I'm not too disappointed... Question...... Now that we're mathematically safe from going down, WTF will Benji do until the start of next season ? 😃 P.S. I've put extra spaces in this time , to keep Tony happy...😉

If Berahino was ill, why would you include him on the bench.
Is it just a bit of face-saving by Hughes who rather than admitting he's dropped a bollock in signing a drug taking overweight drunk, by saying he's ill reflects better on Hughes than just dropping the player.

Bit harsh mate but really I wouldn't trust Hughes with a single penny from now on, disgusting how much money he's had a pissed up the wall on players who are neither performing or not involved whatsover.

The trouble lately is, we can't hold onto a lead to save our lives, and the amount of chances wasted is a joke. The frustration of being a Stoke fan is huge. We could have had a record breaking season, but no, so many points pissed up the wall again.

I share your frustration , but I always look at the other side of the coin. I see far bigger clubs than us like Leeds, Villa and even Sunderland languishing in the Championship now ,and think how lucky we are. Try being a Vale fan ......Poor sods ! 🤣🤣🤣

Both Bournemouth goals came from their right wing - where was our left side defense. All you could see at one point was Arnie running behind their player but too late. For the second goal why didn't Shawcross attack the cross instead of moving backwards towards his line. The ball bobbled about until it was put in off his backside. Not an offside goal, but shocking defending again. When are we going to learn how to defend, especially when most games we just can't score, which makes it so important to keep clean sheets. We must have had the least number of clean sheet from any team above the drop zone

My biggest frustration with Arnie (who I think is a superb player) is this week he missed a chance he should have scored from, but then stops playing while he feels sorry for himself. They overload because he hasnt tracked back, and score.
The other week misses a penalty, mopes while they score at the other end.
Modern football doesn't allow time to feel sorry for yourself.
Most of the time his tracking back and defending is superb, just switches off now and again.

Most of their danger came from their right back, wasn't tracked by Arnie, has been useless in the last few games, Sobhi needs to start. I saw it differently. Arni saw Muniesa was asleep and left his winger open. He did his usual weird head back sprinting thing and almost caught him. Meanwhile Muniesa was trotting back without a care in the world. The second goal was similar. Hughes finally figured out how they were hurting us and put Pieters in, but it was too late and the damage done.
