Please guys , do not put sobhi in any formation , because he will never play this season , maybe in 89 min as usual Not because he doesn't deserve , just because of MH mentality I was disappointed enough last weeks , Ramadan in Egypt didn't do any defensive work , we kept his energy only for attacking That's why he was the main threat , and my club in Egypt suffered a lot without him In stoke he proved that he can defend well and attack well , not like others who only attack and waiting their mates to cut the ball ANd send it back to them I think he lost a lot this season , I wished if he was sent on loan this season and come back next season as star Unfortunately he has to start next year from the begining to gain the manager trust

Hughes says Saido and Walters are doubts. I hope he gives Diouf a run up front instead of playing an ill (Saido) or injured (Walters) player.

The Guardian thinks it could spell the end of an era for Stoke. .... Starting at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, Stoke have the chance to finish the season strongly and it will be intriguing to see if the players rise to the challenge against Bournemouth. If not then what we may be witnessing is the last knockings of a side which at times over the past few years has fired the imagination. The likes of Marko Arnautovic and Xherdan Shaqiri may leave, as could Hughes after four seasons in charge and with a reputation for always having at least half an eye on the latest managerial vacancies. www.theguardian.com/football/2017/may/05/premier-league-and-championship-10-things-to-look-out-for-this-weekend

After the pretty despicable way their entire entourage behaved at our place earlier this season - I would really, really, love to see Stoke City put one over on them, their fans and their luvvy duvvy media tomorrow

That's why he isn't playing. Egypt is a lot different to the premier league. And while he's done well, he isn't the finished article. His final ball and decision making sometimes fail him, and that's exactly why he isn't playing at the minute. He'll be a top player, but he isn't one yet. Of all the things Hughes has done wrong, this is not the stick to beat him with.

Funny how only a couple of mentions of 'a little time-wasting' incredible. The time wasting done by them is amongst the worst I've seen, and feigning injury too. They come a close second to Burnley for cuntish gamesmanship. They only seem to resort to saying how shit Stoke is as a place. Great tell us something we don't know. And the bellend who only thought Robbie was our only famous musician 😅

Unless results go for us we need 1 point to be mathmatically safe. Totally believe we are ok anyway but my point is that here we are with only three games to play and not mathematically safe. Not good enough for a "mid-table" team.
Reckon Hughes safe until Christmas but we will have to have a lot better first half to the season.

Best we can do is get a goal and then wind them up by wasting a bit, before cruising to a 2 goal lead. I don't hate Bournemouth, but they do get on my tits. I can see them going down next season.

If Berahino isn't fit, surely Diouf will get the start?
He's been treated pretty shabbily (well, as shabbily as someone who's been on £60k-a-week for the last 4 year can be treated!)
Even so, he's nearly 30 and out of contract in 2018. Wouldn't be surprised if he decides to move on for a last hurrah as a striker somewhere.

Listening to last week's 606, maybe all the public moaning about this season will actually give the manager and those players not performing at the top of their game the kick up the arse they need.
We'll see come 3 o'clock won't we...
They can all stay - IF they pull their fingers out and learn from the lessons of the season
Goarn Stoke!

MH has a 'reputation for always having at least half an eye on the latest managerial vacancies'...really? He has never given me that impression even before he came to Stoke. His time at Stoke up until now has been a harmonious one with both parties seemingly happy with life.Absolute bollox from the the lefty Guardian, who must be pissed off with the left of politics in Britain heading down the pan

What he is good enough to do though, in my opinion, is to force MH into the change that sees Sobhi and Arnautovic out wide, and Shaqiri in his preferred, roaming No10 role, rather than any of the absolute fucking abominations we've seen in the No10 role over the last few months.

I'm fully expecting to see Johnson, Adam, Whelan, and Crouch today.
Maybe with a dusting of Joe Allen in the role behind the front man.
It's the stuff of dreams.
