Twice tonight in the Sydney v Perth A league Semi final, the Video Assisted Referee (VAR) was called into action after the linesman disallowed two Sydney goals. Both times the linesmans decision was overturned. It was simple, quick and effective and must surely be used in the Premier League moving forward.

They got booed off by the fans of the team who benefited didn't they?
I applaud those fans.
A horrible idea that will further ruin football.

Long overdue. It will need to be implemented carefully but if it helps reduce the cheating and many injustices in the game it's got my vote.

Football is too subjective for that. In tennis and cricket, the rules are very clear and precise. In football, whether or not a handball is a handball, for example, is down to the country that you are in and the individual referee.
