Bankrupt. And I don't see anyone buying them.

....... and it's all our fault. As taxpayers we have massively contributed to what is now known as the "London Stadium" to the benefit of West Ham & to the detriment of Leyton Orient.
On the plus side, it has been a face-saver for Lord Coe & it has also lined the pockets of the porno brothers.

Barry Hearn still owns the ground. It has a Ron Noades feeling about it.

I know they shouldn't have to but for the good of the game, if every mega rich premier league player just contributed a one off £100 of their many tens of thousands they earn each week, the players of Leyton Orient could at least be paid up to date and have a bit of a buffer whilst they sought new clubs. If they aren't getting paid then surely it is breach of contract and they become free agents once again.
Just a thought as this is a great example of the massive gulf that exists in professional football only 2/3 leagues apart from each other.

Here is another very good article on the owner. It sounds like a work of fiction but it's real. www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2017/feb/10/leyton-orient-spiteful-owner-frnacesco-becchetti"This is the latest phase in the calamitous ownership of the club by the Italian waste-management magnate Francesco Becchetti, whose two-and-a-half-year reign has featured one expensively funded relegation, an unsuccessful reality TV show, a failed attempted extradition of the owner to Albania as part of a fraud and money‑laundering investigation (he said it was politically motivated), a six-match ban for Becchetti for kicking his then assistant manager Andy Hessenthaler, 10 managers, persistent reports of meddling in team affairs, a chaotic player-recruitment policy and a general sense that no one senior at the club has the first idea of how to run it."

Sad situation for a club I like a lot. Will never forget Steino's 90th minute double in 92/93.
Good luck you O's

Was that the Ricky Otto double? I think Otto put Orient one up and Steino missed a penno at 0-1. Great times.

Peter Coates is clearly the worst owner for not sacking the monster that is Mark Hughes.

Sad state of affairs. Only goes to show what a mockery these fit and proper tests regarding club ownership are when you have clowns like him able to buy a football club. This could end up far worse than relegation for them however, looks as if this bloke cannot be tracked down club will go into administration.
