Average squad player for Bournemouth.
If injured long term, will be missed by very few football fans (and Roy Hodgson).

Hope it turns sceptic and drops off. I know this was a joke, but it's a pretty awful thing to joke about. I know someone who lost an arm to sepsis. They were in a coma for a while. It had appeared to be a minor cut. Many people die. I think they have long term organ damage from it.

I normally hate to see anyone with a serious injury, and I had a nasty broken fibula of my own 18 months ago so I should say I wouldn't wish it on anyone... but it IS nice for it to happen to one of the game's true scumbags for once, rather than the likes of Butland.

He walked off the pitch, so I would guess it's a similar break to the one Glenn Whelan had, but Glenn was playing again in a fortnight.

Can see it already.....he will recover by Feb 2018, regain fitness and play a handful of games towards the end of next season just in time to be the first name on Southgate's 2018 WC squad.

As I've experienced with people I know that have had cancer for instance. There's not really any need for you to be offended on someone else's behalf. RIP Jack.

Yes also Marc Wilson broke his leg when he was with us in a challenge with Steven Fletcher against Sunderland and he seemed to be back in a jiffy too. I know these Irish lads are tough though... Maybe all his limbs?

I wonder how all of those Nigerian and American Arsenal fans have reacted to this? Harry Kane will be shitting himself like a thousand Gary Linekers.

And yet I found it to be funny despite one of my closest friends having his right leg and half his right arm blown off along with being peppered by god knows how pieces of shrapnel, losing the sight in one eye and many other injuries. He was in hospital for nigh on two years (in a medically induced coma for a fair bit too) and to this day he still suffers agonising pain. Wanna play top trumps?
