There's not even 10,000 Vale fans to begin with so that's bollocks.

If there are 10,000 Vale fans at Stoke, then it's the 10,000 Vale fans that are killing Vale off. How the frig is it Stoke's fault or responsibility?

10,000 vale fans at stoke is just a load of bollocks spewing from the mouth of a sad and bitter inferior. We've always had a much larger fan base than our attendances suggests. At different points in our history the % who regularly attend fluctuates and right now it must be the highest it's been in the lifetime of most, but I'd still guess that, even within the confines of just North Staffs the club has more fans who don't regularly attend than fans that do.

I very much doubt the 10,000 figure quoted - although I expect there probably are a couple of thousand people who regard themselves as Vale fans in a Stoke home crowd. However, the huge money available to teams in the Premier League is probably responsible for the financial difficulties that a lot of lower league clubs find themselves in. In our last season in the Championship our income was in the region of £12 million. This season it will be nearly 12 times that amount and our season ticket prices are the same as they were in our last Championship season and they are now far cheaper than the ticket prices of many lower league clubs. The only solution is for more of the Premier League riches to be redistributed to lower league clubs to enable them to reduce their ticket prices. Unfortunately turkeys rarely vote for Christmas and so it is unlikely to happen. Unless it does I can't see our huge lower league pyramid lasting for much longer - I expect many lower league clubs to go to the wall in the next 20 years - and those clubs sited closest to Premier League clubs are possibly at greatest risk.

I'm all for the Premier League helping lower league clubs, as long as they wait until vale are non-league or non existent.

Since when did Vale have 10.000 fans to spare?

I used to go and watch the Vale now again, as did many Stoke fans, but after their sneering and gloating in the one season in their history that they were above us I decided never to set foot in that shit hole again. I suspect I'm not alone and that, more than Vale fans watching Stoke, is more likely to be the reason why they appear to have lost fans.
They never had 10,000 fans in the first place anyway.

Well if there is Valeites in our crowd i've got only one thing to say to them....
Fuck off up the Vale then.
In all fairness they won't be hardcore Vale anyway more like floating football fans. Most Vale fans i know would not set foot in our ground, not even when Vale played us at The Brit.

I know most Stoke fans think they are idiots but why on earth would Vale fans want to watch Stoke, it just doesn't make sense. So Wba have Walsall fans in crowd? Middlesbrough have Hartlepool etc?
