What fuckin nonsense and utter bollox they are.....the same goes with any other Stoke player bashing threads!!!
Doesn't do anyone any good apart from feeling temporarily better until the next thread comes along!!!
We all have our favourite, and least favourite players, but we don't have to fuckin slaughter those least favourite players every fuckin week!!!
There was an incident mid-way through the second half when Arnie got to the byline and over hit a cross.......he was greeted by the chant of "Arnie, Arnie, Arnie...."

Had that have been Peiters he'd have been met with moans and groans, needless to say, it's gonna knock his confidence!!!
For me, Peiters is no where near as bad as some make out on here!!!
Any negative threads should be automatically binned, it's not doing anyone any good, more so the player himself!!!

He's been absolutely rank for a while now. Grant lost the plot with him and at Turf Moor in the second half, he was that bad with the ball that we were avoiding passing to him. Does he insistance on giving away free kicks because he loves to tackle with his hands not frustrate you too? Re the Arnie cross, it was a great take and stuck the ball in exactly the right place for a centre forward to stick away. Unfortunately Crouch wasn't quite quick enough to get on the end of it. That's why he got the applause. The reason we're on course for our lowest ever Premier League points haul is because we're carrying players who simply aren't good enough. Pieters is one of them. Some fans just need to get over it. |

I agree with OP regarding the whole Pieters Bashing shite, but I disagree with the Arnie cross mate. If you watch it again (I don't know how you would) but Shaq was pointing to where he was going to make a run.
Arnie stuck it exactly where Shaq had pointed but he didn't make the run ending up in it running through to the byline.

Pieters has been a good player for us but he's been Wilson-level wank for a worryingly long time now, he either needs shipping out or some serious competition for his position to give him a right kick in the Netherlands.

He seemed very hesitant today and that lead to some wtf moments but wasn't the worst I've seen him all season. I thought Muniesa was more effective behind him though.

To be fair if you're a professional footballer and you give away a corner when there isn't another player from either side within 5 yards of you, people are going to put the boot in aren't they? I like Erik, he never lacks effort but that today was shite, and he has been(as have others) for the past couple of games. In the interest of balance in the first half he did pull off a successful cross, which he dragged back for somebody( 1 in 95 isn't bad) - world class play from the lad  |
