Doesn't sound like terrorism at this stage. Enough to freak you out though.
Some suggestions it was just one or two firecrackers being set off too close to the coach.
Game played tomorrow now.

No doubt she of the idiots on here will try to make a joke about this. Seems like just one or 2 minor injuries. Very lucky. Puts everything in perspective,

Still not really clear what went on, but seems like it was a targeted attack - by who is unclear? www.theguardian.com/football/live/2017/apr/11/borussia-dortmund-v-monaco-champions-league-quarter-final-first-leg-liveThe German newspaper Bild is reporting that the three explosions came from devices placed on the corner of a street where the bus would have had to slow down to turn.Bild is quoting a German policeman, Gunnar Wortmann, as saying the explosions were caused by “explosive devices” (Die Sprengsätze).

No it isn't! Do you know anything about explosives? A stick of Dynamite as big as a flare won't do that much damage relative to the stuff terrorists use except to the person carrying it. It has to be packed into a confined space to have much power. However, a body belt packed with explosives and ball bearings will create havoc. That's why you're searched. OS.

And people moan about searches at stoke any deterrent of any sort is welcome however small I did a fair bit of moaning about an incident on the flares thread yesterday johnsmithsupper. It was not moaning about being searched but the arbitrary nature of who is searched and not searched. If we have searches, which i am in favour of all should be searched

german Police and the more respected news outlets such as Reuters and Associated Press are saying it is assumed as a serious explosive device
searches might be a part of the supporters life for the foreseeable, but this happened about 5/6 miles from the ground, so not much can be done really if someone is intent on creating carnage and mayhem
worrying indeed

Bloke with a bag behind walks up to steward. Steward says "you've got nothing that'll go bang in there have you?". Bloke says no and proceeds to walk in ground. A few weeks before women weren't being searched because you know women can't be terrorists. And another week we just had one steward just come along and say no more to the searches and we just went in. I have no issue with being searched or them being in operation. But they need to be done right or not at all.

There's a suggestion in Süddeutsche newspaper, and no more than that, that it might be linked to a right wing faction of Dortmund's own fans who have fallen out with the club.

There's a suggestion in Süddeutsche newspaper, and no more than that, that it might be linked to a right wing faction of Dortmund's own fans who have fallen out with the club. It does seem strange that the usual outlets aren't saying its a terror attack, which it clearly is but only one group of people seem to get labelled with that nowadays (which is a farce). And they haven't been accused as far as I can see.

There's a suggestion in Süddeutsche newspaper, and no more than that, that it might be linked to a right wing faction of Dortmund's own fans who have fallen out with the club. It's not hard to see how that theory might arise, the attacks do seem very specific to the Dortmund team. The lone nutters with a car as a weapon and a very lose affiliation to ISIS that we see right now seem to lack even this minimal level of specificity as to who they harm.

Listening to the radio, apparently ISIS or whoever targeted the coach did so because of the Clubs failure to tackle the hard right within Dortmund's support.
Let's hope they don't read Everything Else on the Oatcake.
