Does it justify him missing 1/3 of the season whilst being our highest earner? Seriously? Class on his day, but they are rare. Maybe just maybe, his issues have been legitimate? I cannot believe some people wanted to get rid and even potentially for a loss. We dont half have some right FUCKING IDIOTS.

Like I said a few weeks ago, people can moan about his injury record all they like but don't doubt his quality, unreal today.

Credit where it's due - excellent today, put in a shift as well. The goal was a stunner.
He looked interested and up for it.

When he plays he really makes things happen and is well worth his place.
He is fucking awesome when he wants to
BUT there are 2 issues:
- his injury record - his desire to be at Stoke
I just enjoy watching him play in the red and white stripes but Im under no illusion thinking that he doesnt really wanna be here.

I don't buy this "he doesn't wanna be here" nonsense. Is that due to people thinking he's not injured when he says he is? Because if he had half a brain he'll know putting in performances like the one he did today is the best chance of him moving on to a bigger club. To me he looks happy, or maybe his smile is a front?

I saw a player who hid when the going got tough, left his full back wide open and returned to the match when we went in front. In between that he thought it was quite alright to have a pop at a number of his team mates, those team mates that have bothered to turn up with knocks and niggles whilst he cried off sick for the last 3 months. Great goal though.

Masterclass today, made one, scored one, set Arnie up a few times. When he plays we average twice as many points per game as when he doesn't. Especially valuable against the teams outside the top 7. At times it was like primary school, him and Arnie so much better than everyone else in the pitch. We need to keep him, fire him up, get a fit young right back to give him the freedom to be lazy at times

Great goal though. I thought he did better than usual without the ball. He chased them down a few times and did try and get back on occasion. He isn't and never has been defensive minded an I think sometimes people need to tell him, but I saw him running around more than usual - maybe that's why I thought it was a shift. Johnson is the one who needs to talk to him as well, plenty of times he can see what's happening and quite evidently doesn't speak up or is just ignored. I get that Shaq is a professional footballer but defending isn't his game and he needs telling what to do.

Hes putting on a run of form to put himself in the shop window. He doesnt wanna be here but he knows he needs to perform to secure the move he wants. At least we benefit and should make a small profit on his sale.

Best player on the pitch today by some distance. He was everywhere. And his touch and vision at times was just on a different level.

What i like is how he stepped up today when the team needed him. Hughes has said that he has set him targets until the end of the season and he delievered. I could watch him all day.
Listening to michael owen in the man utd game the other night in europe. He said he used to love pressure, like all top players. He said even he felt 10 foot tall when team mates came up to him in the dressing room before a game to say 'come on michael we need YOU today'.
Shaq is one of them players. When i got in and watched Merson on soccer saturday he was going mental over him. Telling him to 'stop it' every time he touched the ball. Went mad over the ball over the top to arnie at 1-0 up.
A truly different gravy.

They move regularly and if Roma's interest is remotely real he will be gone like a shot. If we've got Arni and Sobhi around and this young Belgian lad is as good as they think then the cupboard won't be bare.

I know I'm opening myself to have my head shot off, especially after his impressive performance and spectacular goal today, but Shaq is just too inconsistent/unreliable for me. Obviously talented but has been a passenger in a number of games I've seen and I've said before he seems very brittle on the injury front and seems to take the soft option if not 100% right.
On balance I'd like him to stay but I wouldn't plan on building a team around him.

Need to manage his fitness/injuries and build a team around him and Arnie. Some of his play today was sublime. We are an infinitely better team with him than we are without him.

We are an infinitely better team when Shaqiri steps up to the plate. Unfortunately this season that has been too little. People wanking themselves into a frenzy over a couple of good games (out of the last 15) need to get a grip. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif)

Hull fans have had good value out of him this season!

I've been watching stoke a long time and I was as excited as anyone when we signed shaq, his quality is not in question and he's had a few exceptional games over his 2 seasons a lot of mediocre games and missed probably half of them? I thought he was shit today apart from a worldy goal and a few good passes, then motd make him look like a fuckin superstar. I have started to really dislike him this season, especially his gay arrogant celebration 😉 but is my sudden dislike of him a bit blinkered and I'm looking for any reason to slag him off or is my dislike justified for the money he earns and the reward we get from him. All I know is he frustrates the fuck out of me more than any player I've seen over the last 30 odd years of me watching stoke. I want to like him but I just can't seem to, although I appreciate his undoubted quality
