The absurdity of signing a player who is patently unfit and hasn't played for two years means we are dropping down the table like a stone. The ludicrous signing is compounded by keeping to play him to get him 'match fit'.He is now 400 days into a goal drought including nine games for us. Five losses in a row and zero contribution from him.The sort of decision that costs managers their jobs.

Hughe's problem is not subbing sooner and altering their pressure. It cost us again.

Zero contribution? What an absolute load of horseshit.

Unlucky not to get on the score sheet today. Took a wonder save from mignolet to deny him.

He had his best game so far, and getting better each game.

Thought he did ok again with his effort. Sharpness will come and next season is when to judge.

He did OK today but he doesn't work in a 442 besides Walters. He needs a decent number 10 behind him who can thread a ball rather than waiting for the lofted crosses that achieve nothing.

He didn't miss. Mignonet saved it, fuck knows how.
Pretty difficult to get about the pitch when liverpools no.17 was trying to bum him all game. Arms round the fucking neck and all sorts, if it goes unnoticed what's he meant to do?

I just don't see how he fits into a team like ours .
Maybe if we get a new midfield with some energy and move the ball quicker but that is a lot of change needed

Ran his bollocks off today and felt desperately sorry for him at full time. He didn't deserve that sub.

I was pleased with berahino today
Should be fully fit and firing on all cylinders for next season
With a few good signings, shedding some dead wood and above all a manager who is able to get the best out of his players we should have a good season 2017/18

Ran his bollocks off today and felt desperately sorry for him at full time. He didn't deserve that sub. Just like at Burnley. Up top on his own, chasing hoof balls. When Crouch stripped off, losing 1-0, I thought we were going 2 up top and going for a win. Instead he gets the hook and we just lumped it up to Crouch instead. That would have been the better option today, Walters off and Crouch on. A target to aim at and some help defending set plays. Saido was desperately unlucky with the save today.

Thought he played well today - unlucky not to score. Showed desire to chase lost causes and not short of strength on occasions.

The ' thought he did well' 'ran around a lot' comments do my head in.'Getting better with each game'.
Jesus aren't we entitled to more for £15m and 70 k a week.
'He will be a good player'
I should definitely hope so but he won't be this season.
Meanwhile we nose dive down the table

Certainly getting better but picking him will only be justifiable when we are safe from relegation issues. He should not be doing this 'catch-up' work in the 1st team.

Thought he did ok again with his effort. Sharpness will come and next season is when to judge. Problem is we may be getting him fit for somebody else - it would just be Stoke to finally get him match sharp this season, get relegated and he leaves

He did well today, had one great chance only to be denied by a superb stop from Mignolet.

Put a shift in again, we all knew when he came that he wasn't the 1 up front type of player.
But we all knew that, didn't we?
He has to find a formation/partner that works for him, a player in Walters ilk who can hold the ball up and play the odd killer pass.
Joselu?

He is a goal scorer and err, he is not scoring - We al hope but my goodness there is not much to see that gives hope right now. I would argue Bony showed more

I would argue Bony showed more Bony showed about half an hour of good football in his 9 consecutive starts, against poor sides apart from Arsenal and Man Utd. Saido has had 5 starts against City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester away and Burnley away and has still shown far more than Bony. Very unlucky not to score today, and holds the ball much better than you'd think for someone of his stature.

We will agree to disagree on this I guess - I remain so far totally unimpressed by anything he has done except Man City away I would have subbed him today and kept Walters on which is saying something
