Well said , i had a few pints of bitter before the match and i admit, i got boisterous and half stood half sat for most of the game. My friends said i was mumbling what sounded like obscenities but i cant remember what they were. Never again , ive learnt and will be back on the bovril saturday Unfortunately in someways I am limited to only bovril at football games But is by far my non alcoholic drink of choice With a slight sprinkle of white pepper if it's really cold Devine. you will have to join me for a bovril or two before a match.

I stood on Saturday, stand every away game to be fair! but Saturday I actually couldn't find my seat was back few rows and seat numbers seem to went from 335 to 123 for example baffling - especially after Bovril or 6

Everyone needs to sit down, clap politely when there is a goal and chomp on a nice prawn sandwich at half time. If that's your perceptions of people who wish to sit and watch yo U're a fucking moron. Only an idiot stands when they can sit down. And the majority are even more stupid because eighty percent of them don't even watch the game. *you're *smileywinkyface*

So you can sit down. I thought that was obvious? You are so thick! Pricks like yourself should stand at the front. I want to have my rightful perspective on the game where I can see the shape of the teams and the movement. Why should I be dictated to where I should sit? Says the guy trying to dictate to everyone (the majority) how they should watch the game. You are a massive hypocrite.

First of all you need to learn what an hypocrite is! Secondly where are your figures that show that a majority want to stand! Many stand because they have to to see. There are quite a few people on this thread who like my stance on this matter. If you are asking me should people be given space to stand at football matches? I would say no problem but certainly not in an all seater stadium.

I agree that a compromise would be the best solution, no quarrels there. Entire rows about 5 from the front are standing, you're trying to tell me that more people behind them want to sit rather than stand? A couple of people in this topic have agreed that they'd rather sit. Most have said they don't mind or would rather stand. I'm going off this thread and the way the games go to get the "majority" (albeit it isn't definitive that this is the case, but occums razor and all that). I said you were a hypocrite because you don't want to dictated to about how you should watch the game, whilst dictating to people how they should watch the game. Ideally, there should be a standing and seating section, but that isn't close to happening at the moment unfortunately. People vote with their feet however and standing is currently winning.
