Watching SJW lumbering off the pitch to be replaced by Crouch lumbering onto the pitch. On a par with this is then seeing Charlie adam coming on shortly after. Possibly the worst subs he could of made

Today was fucking abysmal.
The manager has spent 18 million pounds on a midfielder and can't get him into the team. He chooses Adam over him as a sub.
His 12 million pound winger doesn't want to play for us.
His 15 million pound forward looks lost with no support upfront.
His 15 million pound midfielder has gone off the boil.
Tragic performance today.
Glen Johnson may as well had a cigar in his mouth for that 2nd goal.

I thought the defeat at spurs a few weeks ago was one of the worst performances from a Stoke side since promotion, today wasn't far behind which is pretty worrying.

At a guess and I may be wrong but I think WD is on about Saido and Allen and tbh he is right combined spend £60 million on transfer fees alone

I think the fans would have a lot more respect for MH if he was prepared to take a gamble rather than go for the old guard like WALTERS, Crouch, Whelan and Adam. He knows what he'll get with them and the huge limitations they have re there pace. Look at what happened with Sobhi and how that worked out. I think the introductions of an NGoy or Campbell would really get the crowd excited and behind the team / player.

The most infuriating thing about a Hughes Stoke side is that if they can get away with the being "On the Beach" then they will generally do so. They also look confused and under motivated which should never happen at this level. MH flacid personality permeates through the Stoke Team at the moment. Add that to his crazed pursuit of very average £15 million players which is going to require Coates to make a hard decision in the Summer.

Did anybody think we could win with that lineup when announced an hour before kick off against a resurgent Leicester? I didn't and I haven't thought that too many times. We are a mid table Premier League team of which we should be grateful. Cmon boys let's finish with a bang

Watching SJW lumbering off the pitch to be replaced by Crouch lumbering onto the pitch. Thing is though, SJW had concussion and many a pundit and even Craig Shakespeare noted that we were far better and more threatening when Crouchie came on. We can't get rid now, so I don't think it serves any purpose to keep going down the 'taking the piss' route. I'm happy to celebrate their service until it's the right time for them to be moved on. I'd hate to see their last days with us being marked by howls of derision. Them and us are far better than that.

I thought Adam did okay when he came on.
The game was crying out for another player in midfield from the first whistle, it frustrates me that hughes couldn't see it.
Contrary to opinion, IMO we have far too many grafters and not enough quality. It's why I'm so worried about the possibility of Bojan and Shaq leaving.

The saddest thing today was seeing Whelan playing at half the speed of everyone else on the pitch - a great servant but is surely shot at this level.
Walters didn't do a lot wrong and Crouch made a difference when he came on (although he should have buried that header near the end) - as did Adam and Diouf.
It's who we rely on next season that matters now - and some stalwarts certainly need retiring.
