On paper they don't look great but have been very impressive this season at home. We really need to bounce after a very unimpressive showing today. Lets hope Geoffs back. If he and Shaq still aren't fit I'd go with
GK - Grant
RB - Bardsley CB - Indi CB - Ryan LB - Erik
DM - Allen DM - Afellay
CM - Imbula
WING - Arnie WING - Sobhi
STR - Berahino
If - Geoff's fit
GK Grant
RB Bardsley CB Indo CD Ryan LB Erik
DM Allen DM Cameron
CM Afellay
WING Arnie WING Sobhi
STR Berahino

The only possibly of change would be Crouch instead of Walters.

I'm already braced for a defeat and I've even taken half day off to go to the game. I'm either dedicated or mental, although I'm not sure which .

I'm genuinely amazed we're still 9th. It flatters us. But with 5 teams on 33 and 34 points snapping at our heels our descent could be rapid if we don't get a result at Burnley.

Bardsley has another game to miss ain't he. Two game ban for two yellows. Leicester and Burnley.
Hope we go three at the back, Burnley are extremely stingy at home whilst not offering much of a threat. Upwards and onwards.

Grant
Edwards Shawcross Martins Indi Muniesa
Cameron (if fit) CDM Allen (reluctantly) CDM Imbula Advanceds/free role with encouragement to power forward
Arnie Swapping wings Berahino Playing on the last mans shoulder Ramadan Swapping wings
Why not give it a go... 442 doesn't work and neither does playing Allen in the no 10 role
Drop Johnson and Pieters and let them know their performances have been poor Put Ngoy and Campbell on the bench
Subs - Isted, Pieters, Souttar, Adam, Afellay, Ngoy and Campbell

There's absolutely no point turning up unless Hughes makes it clear to both players and fans what he is trying to do.
For example, if Imbula is good enough for the bench, was he REALLY not good enough to start instead of Walters.
And if players try as hard as, say, Johnson. Then why turn up?
And if we don't realise that the midfield needs to move the ball forward WITH PACE and to get back WITH PACE when trying to win the ball back... then why turn up.
Come on Hughes (and the lads) give me a reason. I only want the best for you and us fans.

Imbula wont play - yesterday 2-0 down was the opportunity to try him again - but no
He is off in the summer as is Muni who is now desperate to leave

I'd consider going back to 3-4-3 for Tuesday. I like that formation and thought it was harsh to ditch it completely after defeats to Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. Start with it for an hour then switch to 4 at the back if we need to tighten up a bit.
............Grant................
.....Ryan.....BMI......Muniesa
Diouf....Whelan....Allen......Pieters
........Arnie..........Ramadan......
...............Berahino..............
Having Arnie and Ramadan behind Berahino should give him the sort of service he'd thrive on.
Alternatively, this 4-2-3-1 looks decent to me.
.............Grant..................
Bards.....Ryan.....BMI........Muniesa
.............Allen......Whelan......
Arnie...........Afellay...........Ramadan
...............Berahino...................
Baggies fans have commented that Saido's hopeless as a lone striker, but then has he ever had that sort of creativity behind him?

I'm travelling up then catching the coach from SOT with my eldest, if it's shit (and there's every indication it will be) I'll just look at it as a day/evening on the piss with him, plenty of anesthetic needed, thought those days were gone...

No Allen and Geoff as a tandem in midfield and no Bardsley or Diouf at fb then I'm still kinda worried with burnley coming up. It is vital to have the engine room back in the squad to counter with Geoff and Allen in midfield after the abuse Whelan and Allen were given from drinkwater and crew. We also need a more defensive fullback on the edges after johnsons testimonial at the king power. Hell even Muniesa should get a shot to replace the falling-dutchman on the left.

It has to be this;
Grant
Bardsley Shawcross Indi Pieters
Whelan (Cameron if fit) Allen Imbula
Ramadan Diouf Arnie
Muni is a really shit left back and I don't like him there.
Imbula is our only really attacking midfielder but needs to play in a 3 and not as a number 10. Imbula has to play.
Arnie is our best left winger.
Diouf is the best striker we have.

Burnley away is not a game for the half hearted. So imbula won't be playing.
If available for selection bards and mama would be give us a bit of industry and commitment
If we match them for effort and commitment we can beat them.

You don't even need the three points.
Any chance of one of you delightful Stoke fans having a word with that ex Bastard manager you have, about putting out your crappiest team?
I'll be forever grateful.
