I would have a guess that Newport County's is better than Stoke's. Just queued up for over an hour at 9.15am to renew my ST, 4 windows open serving 4 people and a queue of 4 including me, no one seems to know what the fuck they're doing, asking people for personal information over the speaker systems they use, email address, DOB, postcode and address, age, how long they've been retired, which bank they use, are they employed self employed, how long have they lived at their current address and all within the earshot of everybody within 30 yards. I was paying in full so it should've been a simple process but they had to make a fucking meal of it as the young lad who was dealing with me was obviously new to his role and had to fetch a suit from the back twice to help him out, then his system crashed and I had to start all over again. I thought I'd have ample time to do it in my morning break but how wrong, it's a fucking shambles, now I'm stressed out late back to work and totally pissed off. God help anyone who's going to renew after work cause if there's going to be any sort of a queue you'll be fucked and will probably miss the early bird deadline. I'd say sort it out Stoke but I doubt they have the staff, knowledge or technology to do so. I wonder if Bet 365 is run in the same 1970's way? Gouranga.

Of all the 55 years of watching Stoke over 30 years a season ticket holder never had a problem with them, why anybody queues now to renew when you can do it online or even on the phone is beyond me.

I agree, mostly. Which is why I only ever renew my season ticket or buy extra tickets online. I don't wish to be rude Albert but if you can use the Oatcake you're obviously not IT-phobic so why bother with the ticket office?

But people still do and the service is generally poor. I find it funny though and part of the charm of going down there. I agree, mostly. Why have a ticket office you can go to and buy tickets from full stop then? It really isn't the point.

I had a gift voucher to use towards payment which my wife always buys me for a birthday present. Unlike most modern companies you can only use them at the ticket office. There were people there setting up direct debits even though they'd had one last season and all the information that was being asked was audible for every one. Knowing what a shambles the ticket office is do you really think it's wise to entrust them with your card details online? Gouranga.

Did mine over the phone earlier this week and it did take a while because I was arranging finance, but all went very smoothly and the chap who dealt with me was really helpful. It is quite a lengthy process, but I guess it's important for them to check all the details they have on record for you are correct.
Much easier to do online or over the phone I'd say than in person, plus it might have been a bit quicker if you hadn't left it until the eleventh hour!!!

That's fair enough when I have used gift vouchers in stores always find it a problem as most staff never been trained up to accept them so normally have to find a supervisor to sort it out for them.

I do, I think the club is run top to bottom like a circus.

Visited the ticket off last week to renew mine and my lad's whilst at the same time buying Leicester and Burnley tickets.
No problems at all, the staff, as ever, were very helpful. The whole process took about 5 mins.
Easy peasy.

However, I've done the finance option for the past 2 years and it still appears every year I have to go through the entire process over and over again - quite annoying.

It was always going to be busy today I have already explained that I had a gift voucher (which is anther pain in the arse as you now have to take it into the shop to have it converted to a gift receipt if you want to use it towards your ST) and you can only use gift vouchers at the ticket office. It wasn't busy there were 3 people plus me in the queue. I left it until thins morning as I work out of the area and this was the most convenient day and time to do it but silly me I wasn't expecting there to be a huge 3 person queue at 9.15am. Gouranga.
