Is he really worse than Pieters????Really!!???? Despite his lack of focus in a couple of situations at the end of the game, a clumsy corner kick given away and an awful clearance, he played quite well. He is miles better than Muni in my opinion!

The cross he put in today was horrible, and I really like Pieters, but his ability to put in a good cross is far and few between.

I really agree to that, but in general his defending is very good (despite his defensive errors today). Muni is too slow and to easy to get past in my opinion. He should never play at left back at all in my opinion!

I like Muni, but he has hamstrings made out of cling film.
Pieters is the better defender...but his crossing is generally woeful...

To be fair it's not just Eric who seems to have this problem. Nobody seems to be able put in a decent cross. It's doing my head in week after week

Thought Eric did OK today. We defend too deep late on inviting pressure

Regarding full backs ( on both sides of the pitch), we need younger quicker one's. I've said it many times before, and I'm saying it again. The team would be far better for this. No doubt in my mind at all.

No doubt in my mind at all. Should be the main priority in the summer - keep Bards and Pieters as back up and wave goodbye to Johnson We will need another cb as Muni will be off this summer Yeah - it's certainly shaping up to be a massive summer defensively. Can't see any of Johnson, Muniesa and Wollscheid remaining, so we'll need to see a RB, LB and a CB arriving. www.stokesentinel.co.uk/i-did-inquire-about-chelsea-legend-admits-mark-hughes/story-30210871-detail/story.html“We always look at all options, but at the moment our focus is trying to get Bruno signed and sealed if we can. “We may lose other players as well, so it's an area of the team that we probably need more bodies in."
www.stokesentinel.co.uk/charlie-adam-and-fellow-stoke-city-vets-could-be-made-to-sweat-over-contracts/story-30208923-detail/story.htmlThe prospect of Stoke wanting to retain both Bardsley and Johnson depends on Hughes' success in landing a younger right back to understudy, or preferably challenge, whoever remains. Johnson's fitness record during his two seasons at the club has raised concerns, but his liking for a move back south could yet be the determining factor in his fortunes.
