Just to prove I don't always wait 4 hours when we've won and/or played well...
tbh today gets a mixed review from me tho. Top, top marks to Sparky for rallying the lads post-Spurs, we could easily have gone into a trough with a less hard-driving manager. And for long spells today we looked like an ordinary competent mid-table Prem football team seeing off less than brilliant opposition with ease. No major quibbles with starting XI or subs... but, again, several times it felt like a stronger side would have pulled our defence all over the place, it just doesn't feel solid and there's something crucial we're still not getting.
On balance, 7* from me but really chuffed at the improvement.
* if you were there please

6*
Uneventful snore-athon interspersed with glimmers of quality.
Ramadan looked good again
Shawcross poor and has been for a while. Maybe needs a rest.
Still lacking pass in key areas.
Thank god for alcohol.

7- you can only beat what's in front of you. Hard to tell if they were truly awful or we weren't too bad.

6, if Bera needs games why wait so late when Crouch was hardly in the game, and another god awful game to watch.
*What does Allen have to do to get dropped.

7* As above it was clear early on crouch wasn't having any joy against boroughs central defenders , this was a great chance for berehino to get some game time

8 - comfortable win today. Yes, Boro were poor, but we got the job done with minimal fuss

8* from me. Had we won by 5 it would have properly reflected the way we beat them. Their keeper made some outstanding saves, plus we rattled the bar. After last week what I wanted to see was a reaction. We got it. Some of the negativity on here tonight is mind boggling. OS.

2. At home against a shit team and no instinct to go for goals. You disappeared like a rat up Toxic's arse from your other thread soon after you realised you were being a complete bell end. Fair play for coming back and having another go.

4* from me pleased we changed the midfield around but the changes just didn't go far enough, with Premier league safety almost assured and against the poorest away side in the league it was a chance to play the team and tactics that this squad of players deserve, how is Saido ever going to get match sharp while sitting on the bench and with the obvious lack of any sort of pace or urgency in the team there were options, even the bench was baffling, Walters just back from injury yet gets the nod before Bony who is apparently chomping at the bit to show us what he can do, what has Johnson done this season to warrant him displacing Bardsley and yesterday he was again our poorest performer. I'm finding it hard to feel any sort of excitement while watching the Stoke lately (and judging by the complete lack of any atmosphere yesterday I'm not the only one) even the goal celebrations were muted to say the least, why has Hughes signed these talented and technically gifted players if at this stage in the season he's not prepared to risk giving them a chance. Gouranga.

7. We won. Should have been 6-0. We have to develop a killer instinct and finish off these poor teams. Otherwise we will always be vulnerable to dropping points. I am not sure we needed Cameron and Whelan as DM, when neither are great passers. If the intent was to go direct by Whelan and Cameron winning the ball and then hoofing it up the field, why not play either Adam or Affelay alongside either Cameron or Whelan? That being said, Whelan's hoof up to Arni for the first goal was effective and the second goal came from a Whelan corner which was headed back by Crouch. Maybe we would have scored more if Adam had played - we'll never know.

8. Easy win, should have been by a bigger margin but the players need to be sticking it on the onion bag not Hughes....
