Interesting statistic. We're now 8 games unbeaten at home and our last 5 defeats have been Away to Spurs Away to West Brom Away to Chelsea Away to Liverpool Away to Arsenal We're not doing too bad I don't think.

Good performance. Routine win. Ramadan excellent again as was Cameron. Only frustration is that 4-0 wouldn't have flattered us.....

Something of an over reaction, goodish first half, and then tried to cruise the second. But they were so bad it didn't matter. I would be worried if I was a Boro supporter.

This surely isn't a serious thread! It is, the person that posted it seems to have turned in to Victor Meldrew lately.

Another miserable showing. At home against a lame duck and still zero ambition to kill the game off. Hughes needs to fuck off. And sharpish. Affelay sat on the bench again for the abysmal Whelan. Berahino on the bench again. At home. Against a team fighting relegation. I'd rather claw my eyes out FUCK. OFF. HUGHES. And the Oscar for the biggest bellend goessssssss tooooooo.... You! this the Affelay who is being nursed back into the team after a major injury Berahino not played for a long time in the league and again getting fit not kill the game off we were unlucky should have scored 3 or 4 more if it wasn't for last minute blocks but that's football you are like the SNP only have one focus getting hughes out and wont let facts get in your way who do you want to replace him anyway tony and his dire football?

Delilah, absolutely right, papering over the cracks is spot on, it was a poor performance yet again against a shit team, no pace anywhere in this team.

Comfortable win, clean sheet, young player that Hughes signed steps into the limelight with a top performance, Hughes on track for a fourth successive top ten finish in the Premier League, and still the shit heads seize the moment to try and wreak havoc.
Absolute fucking morons.

What a sad and pathetic thread this is. Can't even enjoy a comfortable victory. A win over a shit team, at home. Great. Lets all cheer like we've won the league. Bit childish tbh, we won comfortably against a team that ship very few goals after suffering a severe dicking ourselves last week. Happy with the response, things can always be better but I'd suggest you'd benefit from a bit of perspective

We loss Hughes out we win Hughes out we draw Hughes out. What can he do to gain your acceptance?!!! Wouldn't give ramadan a chance until 2 weeks ago Wont drop shawcross Wont give berahino more than 10 minutes of the field after costing 15M Imbula wasted at 18M Has afalley on the bench yet insists on playing whelan Bony has been non existent 4-0 drummings about 5 times this season Playing 5 in defence at home. shall i give you some more reasons? Maybe Ramadan is doing well because of a good managing from Hughes. Shawcross isn't that good but his replacement isn't that good either. When was the last game Berahino started or Hughes should just play him regardless though he should subbed him in earlier Can't argue with the Imbula point or the Afalley points. Bony!! really. Many chances given with no reward. Bar last game and Crystal match the other three were not that awful (he picked a good team that failed to deliver)

Really? I thought it was a comfortable victory, never in doubt. I disagree. Even when Stoke are 2-0 up, it's never comfortable (look back to Leicester game). Say their goal wasn't offside, are you saying that an equaliser is never in doubt?

Poor performance ? Hmmm,
Well, Stoke dominated the first half during which they scored twice and hit the bar while conceding nothing.
Second half seemed to cruise it and with a little more incisive decision making in and around their box could easily have netted a couple more. Oh, and we went another 45 mins without conceding.
Not a bad day at work from what I saw. Ok, Middlesbrough are a very poor side but we did the job admirably. Man City will be a different proposition and we may struggle, most of us realise we are some way off being a top six side and any result there will be an absolute bonus but as for today we played ok, scored two, conceded nil and picked up three points... Let's just be realistic and happy hey ?

Lose to the top teams beat the bottom teams end up mid table. Your love pulis lost at home to palace who we beat.
Anyone who's not happy with a regulation win in this league is either a Vale fan on the wind up, or a Johnny come lately with no memory of where we've come from.
I suggest that if you're so upset that you do perhaps feck off up the hawthorns or down the vale. 😊

The only negative I can find is Berahino. Not enough time on the pitch and sold down the river up on his own.
He'll score sod all having 90 yard punts aimed at him.

Bit of an embarrassing thread.
Good performance all around, and one of our youngsters hinted he could be a bit special.
God only knows what some of us are looking for.

I think people might have been a bit more reasonable had we created enough chances to put four or five goals past what was, before kick-off, the fifth best defence in the Premier League.

Thought we played well against a very poor side who look destined for the drop.
+ Ramadan and Arni outstanding. + Thought Allen was excellent today. + Cameron showed what we need to make us solid. + Created a fair amount of chances. + 3 points which pretty much makes us safe.
- Crouchy did OK but how much longer do we play with so little pace up front. Makes us very one dimensional. - Ryan still looks rusty to me though he did improve. - We still look slow. - Should have been 4. - It was only Boro. - Injuries to Indi and Arni could set us back. They will be huge losses.
