Pretty much bang on our management and players all need a rocket from the standard of the last 12 months , simply not good enough.

I think he is correct. I am sure part of his obvious disatisfaction was also aimed at the management team. He has gone on record as saying this is one of the best squads assembled and clearly thus far it has been a poorish season. Although the top 6 teams have obviously improved this season, we should be making a better fist of things as we have this season.

Pejic has always identified the problem, I'll give it to him but it's what he says afterwards which is the problem. Can't blame the British players, always the foreign ones. Always the foreign ones.

Bang on. We're a disappointment in progress right now. Pejic has been a top professional International footballer, he has been involved with football at all levels most of his adult life a well respected figure who gave his all for our club, in short he knows his onions what he has seen is pretty much what most supporters who know anything about football have seen. He is also a big supporter of his club maybe Mark and his team should take note of what he is saying.

That is the saying. You're to fucking backward to understand it. Pejic is another of these long line of bitter old footballers who resent the fact that they were born 30 years to early to get on the PL gravy train. He chats utter shit that is lapped up by a load of backward looking Stoke City fans. Sums up the City.

Pej's solution is always the same-BLAME THE FOREIGNERS! He's become a joke! Which were the worst, most gutless displays at WHL? Shawcross (who's awful display was compounded by his total lack of leadership), Whelan and Adam! Who was the outstanding Stoke outfield player? A 19-year old Egyptian! Let's drop the stereotyping, Pej!

Hughes and his squad get paid a lot of money and to turn out the tripe we had last week is unprofessional and it's been pretty regular for over a year now .

But a hell of a lot less chance than someone who has never played at the highest level, not all great players make great managers though they do tend to be able to pick out where things are going wrong.

Mike Pejic:
What I have noticed is that the vast majority are overseas players, many costing a lot in transfers and wages, and their failure to deliver won't have gone un-noticed by the chairman.
Tha above quote from Pejic seems to me demonstrably true so comments about his lack of management experience are utter nonsense. Applying that sort of logic more widely, the only person in the Stoke setup qualified to give an opinion is Hughes, and that falls down straight away through conflict of interest.

You could say the same about plenty of former players.Has Hughes got to listen to a myriad of different opinions because they are by former players? And how does the fact he supports the club validate his opinion?

Pej is more like Roy Keane in as much that he could never understand why his players were not as passionate as he was - simply that. But they can both express their honest opinion without directly affecting "weak" minded mamby Pamby present day footballers
