Pontins Holiday League Honours 2007/2008 Proud to say my lad played on Thursday 24th April 2008 for Vale in the Division One Central fixture Stoke City 0 – 0 Port Vale and then for the Baggies on Monday 28th April 2008 Port Vale 1 – 1 West Bromwich Albion. Morecambe did well this season.

i reckon as long as morecambe can keep hold of mcallroy then they will get promotedto at least league 1 within next 2 years

I used to live in Morecambe (for my sins) and my first taste of football action was at Christie Park
I will always have a soft spot for them. McIllroy is doing a quality job there.
They are getting a new all-seater ground in the near future which will be good for the area (has all the ammenities that these modern grounds have these days)
To think they are in the league with the resources they have is quite incredible (although their chairman is the boss of Umbro)

Morecambe did well this season. Do you know what's happening to Daniel yet? From those who went the two games it sounds like he did well and I'd like to see him get a scholarship at the Vale.
