Nahhh its not happy days it was much better when we were getting hammered at Wigan or Forest or Birmingham slaughtering us at home. Yes I enjoyed those days much more. It's not a comparison Financially it's not. We pay a lot less in real terms as we did back then........

If we get beaten by a good side then that's fine by me but 12 goals conceded to spurs in 2 and a half games? No lessons learned in between those games?
All the other games we've conceded 4? The complete regression in tactics? Returning to route 1 football with the talent we've got at our disposal? We just shouldn't talk about these things because we might beat middlesbrough 1-0? Since losing to Liverpool in the league cup we have without adoubt gone backwards
I'm not a negative supporter, i just thought we were past aiming for 40 points each season, if not why did we even get rid of Pulis?

Absolutely love how we aren't allowed to be pissed off because of 'Where we were 15 years ago' Pathetic performance again, teams don't lose 4-0 so often and not have problems Defending is shambolic, embarrassed to be a Stoke fan after that first half performance

Can't resist. Because Chelsea and the likes, would not have him.

Conceding 4 as often as we have as well as being very frustrating actually masks the fact that in the main we have defended solidly this season. We've kept 7 clean sheets, conceded 1 goal on 11 occasions, conceded 2 goals just once against Leicester, 3 goals just once against Arsenal and 4 goals on 6 occasions. So 18 of the 26 games this season we have conceded one or less which is actually decent, what's the head scratcher is that when we implode we don't do it by half. The problem needs addressing but this shows it might not be the wholesale changes that some want..... With the exception of Palace the 4 goal defeats have all come against the Big 6 teams I believe. Trouble is if you go 1 behind against quality teams and go chasing the game against and forget to do the painful, boring, closing down and tight formation stuff you'll get taken apart and that I think is what has happened too often. Trouble with that, we never went chasing the game. Had Spurs not let off at ht and Grant made some good saves we could've been looking at 8 or 9. We were atrocious, we are too slow and spending millions on players we're not playing. We can not keep on that way.

Maybe admin should divide the board into two sections: one for the happy clappers and one for the realists who tell it the way it is.

I'm afraid performances like that yesterday are just not acceptable and I was supporting us in the division 3 days
