Surely you can see that this lad is far better than anything we've had at the club for a long time. I can see it!

Defoe had about one touch for Sunderland yesterday, he is lethal and almost scored, it bonly takes one chance. Defoe or Berahino, you choose.

I honestly can't see I've seen anything that says that , must just be too early or he is more damaged than first thought . bony and Diouf would start for me next week , as woe Cameron and Shaq at 10 if fit .

I think he'll come good but only if the midfield changes and we get more creativity. Fast paced breaks are what hell thrive on not Whelan back and a Shawcross launch,
I almost think we'd be better off with Imbula in the advanced role rather than Allen as he moves the ball well and will create.

They have some good players but there's others I wouldn't put in a stoke team for me it's the same boring shit from Hughes whether Adam whelan imbula shaq or afellay play. Joe Allen is Steve foley on speed

FFS give the lad a chance. He hasn't had a 90 minutes yet and people are writing him off. Jesus wept. Great support

As an Albion fan who had very high hopes for SB making to the highest level, it gives me little pleasure to see the player's rapid decline (which had started a long time ago - before our Tone turned up) does not appear to have been arrested. To all you oatcakes who are advocating that he plays as a single forward, I'd just say that every time he was used in this role by any of the WBA head coaches, he was useless. I will repeat my earlier Oatcake prediction that SB will be a major millstone around Hughes' neck.

Jesus christ.
He hasn't started a game yet and already he's a flop. We're playing the second best team in the league (imo), he's not match fit and we were 4-0 down. The entire team knew we lost and no one showed any fight. The lad isn't going to come on and score a hat-trick is he when the team is playing like that.
He will come good. GIVE HIM TIME.

Panic buy.who else but stoke city buys a unfit player with issues for 12 million plus ! We'd been chasing him for 3 transfer windows!?! If that's a panic buy, what the fuck was Michael Tonge? Answers on a postcard...

He wont score in our sysytem playing alone, personally would play him with Diouf up front ,might be the making of both of them and a bit of pace to the rest of the sloths.

If we don't have support for Berahino up top, we can file ourselves as a 'Sunderland replica' as they do EXACTLY the same with Defoe and look how that's turned out.
For the 12,445,976 time - 2 STRIKERS UP TOP PLEASE LESLIE !!!!!!!

Thought his movement was quite encouraging, certainty far keener than bony to make some space, sadly today he was far too isolated. With our midfield not performing it's hard to see how we can have the luxury of 2 up front, it's going to be a difficult few months for him IMO
