Baffling to say the least. He has achieved arguably the greatest feat in English football history and now sacked because of a sniff of relegation? Disgusting and unforgivable. Hope they go down.

Bonkers timing, but there you go, that's the mad, mad world of football. And very few voices of reason.

Crazy really, he got a pretty poor team + Mahrez/Kante to massively overperform and somehow pull off a miracle, now they're back at their natural level they're binning him?
Did they expect the bubble to not break? Another top 4 finish?

Disgraceful decision IMHO. The bloke brought them something they will never achieve again! I think they would have stayed up personally. The only thing I hope, is that it happens to that shithouse at manure! Now I would laugh my bollocks off at that. Won't happen though because him and his b'std club will buy success at any cost! I actually like Ranieri as well. He seems like a decent fellow to me.

Always said Leicester were a band of absolute dickheads. Players should have a good hard look in the mirror. Please get relegated.

He's paid the price for two shocking transfer windows. Shocking windows? So who you buy exceeds what happens on the pitch? He's spent nearly £80m on a team that won the league last season, he can have no excuses, they should have been able to sleepwalk into the top ten this season.

Dire. He should have unlimited credit after what happened last season.
Though they have been poor in the league, they are within a good shout of a quarter final place in the Champion's League which is an enormous achievement - hopefully this will backfire and they'll disappear into obscurity now

Ranieri doesnt deserve that. Leicester are quick to forget what he has done for them. So much for loyalty. Hope they go down now.

Unbelievable decision.
I live in Leicester. This is a tragic finale to a saga that's been unbelievable for both good and bad reasons.
Ranieri is and always will be an absolute hero in the city of Leicester. And rightly so. He's an absolute star and a real gem of a bloke too.
Disgraceful. Utterly disgraceful.
Still, at least he will be quids in from the payout, but I honestly doubt he will care about that.
Here at Stoke we've seen some bizarre decisions at our club over the years but f*ck me this trumps anything we've ever come up with.
Thank God we have a sensible owner who believes in stability and the long term view.

But live and die by what happens in the pitch. Talk of good and bad windows and the ludicrous over hyping of transfer times are one of the shittest developments in the game. Glaziers have bad windows. Football managers make mistakes.

Just read the headline and gone to page 3.
I cann not believe that a club that I respected and admired last season can act in such a disgraceful manner.
I hope you not only go down, but you carry on sinking to where you belong.
Football like politics are due for a rude awaking.
Enjoy the Conference or what ever it is called these days.

Very harsh, for once I agree with Linekar. Can Stoke, for a change, give someone a good thrashing and help put them down or will they start to pick up form like sometimes happens when a manager goes (OFTEN happens regarding Stoke!).

That's easily said when it's not your money, the Leicester owners have thrown a hell of a lot of money at the manager this season, and they rightly expect better than potentially playing in the Championship next season.
