The picture makes me a bit teary to be honest, anyone else? They always say a picture says a thousand words, and in this case it is very true, seeing the little chap with all of his tubes with his hero, I bet Defoe is more than a little choked as well and yes Samba, I too find it upsetting. Good luck Bradley, and bloody well done Jermaine Defoe.

First class this by Jermain. Gets my total respect.
A player I have always thought we should have signed from the very first time I saw him completely run circles around us many years ago when he played for Bournemouth on loan from West Ham. He totally had us in his pocket all afternoon at the Brit in that game.
I thought for gods sake sign him, if only to stop him always scoring against us in the future, which he has unsurprisingly gone on to do many many times since.
If you check out his stats he must have one of the best goals per game ratios in the world.

Fantastic stuff from Defoe!
It's in sad circumstances but I can imagine it means the world to young Bradley, keep fighting champ.

Absolute legend on and off the pitch. He wasn't the only one though, there was O'Shea, Mannone & Larsson there too to make the little lads day. Of course Bradley was only bothered about Defoe though Also this-about his day out as mascot at the SOL. Few points about that video: -Can't help but smile when he spots Defoe in the changing room and goes 'Jermaiiiiiine!' The kid absolutely worships the man. -Credit to Diego Costa. He spent quite a while with Bradley (video doesn't show it as much) so I'd always appreciate him of that.

Not sure if you know Bradleys story Jamie - he hasnt got long to live bless him. Fantastic from Defoe, he carried him round the SoL the other week when he scored his goal of the month pen. Heart goes out to his parents, its bloody awful what they are all going through, but great to see there are so many decent people in the world still, even footballers! He's currently undergoing new courses of treatment mate. It's given him new hope so all we can do is keep our fingers crossed.

Indeed Wezza. Media is full of the dickheads who cheat on their model partners or are too stupid to cope with their wealth We hear little of the Rory Delaps of the world cycling hundreds of miles for Donna Louise, or Tone climbing Kilimanjaro/running the London Marathon. Plenty of good uns out there, sadly it doesnt sell papers. Yep that's bang on mate The biggest hate figures on here are probably John Terry and Jack Wilshire but a quick google shows their admiral work Still shit houses though

It is heartwarming and heartbreaking in equal measure and I don't mean to be callous in asking this but surely there are plenty of kids and parents out there going through exactly the same as little Bradley?
What is it that makes this kid so special and how come he's attracted such coverage? Is it simply a case of his parents bringing this into the public eye and it gaining traction through social media or something else?

A lot of footballers get bad press but its stuff like this that goes unnoticed at times.
Its nice to see other boards and fans seeing this and praising him, he seems a decent guy and also is really getting involved with this lad not for a photo op but because he cares
What isnt seen is that O'shea, Mannone and Larsson were there and go a couple of times a week for a few hours to see him.
Having a little girl myself it really hits home how lucky you are to have healthy children
God bless little Bradley
