What a minefield. Paid a compliment to a lady today on her new hairdo. That was fine but my mates saw it as an attempt to get her into bed. You can't win. My ex used to announce she was getting her hair done, spend the equivalent of the mortgage then ask the dreaded question "well, what do you think"?. This is an impossible question to get right. Scenario 2. She gets the hair done and says nothing expecting you to notice. You of course don't but when prompted say "oh yes, great" you may as well start packing. This may go some way to explaining why I'm no longer with her. Needless to say that I'll be keeping well and truly quiet with regards to women's hair in future. You just can't win.

My wife has been letting her hair grow longer lately and I have to say it looks a right bloody mess. When I tried to be subtle to ask if she had thought what style she was going to have in future she went ballistic with me. She accused me of wanting her to shave it all off as it's easier to maintain (not a bad idea actually !). She later asked me to pick which styles I preferred after she'd shown me some photos of models with different hairstyles, and when I expressed a preference she accused me of fancying the model rather than looking at the hair style !
The annoying thing is that although it does look different when she comes back from the hairdresser, but after she's washed it at home it always looks just the same as it always does.
Best just to keep my mouth shut I think.

I went so far on one occasion to utter the immortal sentence "but you'll look great whatever " etc..It would have been easier to just kill the cat and have done with. 😂

Not in order to attract unsolicited attention from random blokes so please dunner mither me if you see me in the late shop Chuffed. ;-}

I told my gal Wendy when I first met her that I love her hair and it's a nice sensible style. She changed it the next day . You can't win.

My wife pays a fortune on her hair (every now and again) I need to add. When she asks me what I think of it, I say turn around, and then say, he's left steps in it. Does her head in!

I'd love that but I think I've got the wrong hair for it mate. I do tie it out of the way when chain sawing and rotorvating etc. I'm reluctant to go full pony.
