Its great that loads of you are rushing out to buy season tickets now that we are in the prem, but I have to ask ........ where were you when we were shit?
Dont get me wrong, I'm not sying that you are all glory hunters and I'm chuffed that we will have 15 - 20,000 season ticket holders, I'm just wondering why you didnt get one before.

I've had my first season ticket for a few years.
Having said that, I had a season ticket season when we were relegated to League 1 and I continued to have season tickets for the following seasons so I don't accept the glory hunting tag.
I've been there through the bad times, I'll be there for the good.

I personally welcome these johny come lately, band wagon jumpers. Their cash will hopefully help toward a successful season. Plus, apart from all the queuing, improve my match day enjoyment by having the ground full. So welcome all you glory hunting Stokies.

I havent had a season ticket for the last 3 years and only missed a handful of games. Have enjoyed sitting in different sections of the ground. Have to get one this year though as I imagine I wont be able to do that this season.
Hope that answers your question.

Lived away from the area for 10 years but always been to as many games as possible (mainly away) but I recently got a new job and didn’t have to work weekends so I have only missed one game since October, getting a ticket in a part of the ground I wanted was never a issue before. It won’t be so easy next season so thought I’d get a season ticket, I’ll still miss the odd midweek game but I know I’ll have my seat and won’t have the worry about missing out on games plus the club have done all they can to make them as affordable as they can to everyone. Last time I had a season ticket was under Brian Little and I’ve been there with 100 others getting wet at Gillingham away on a Tuesday night in December so I’m defiantly not a glory hunter.

I hate watching shit football! Only joking. Living in York I can only get down to matches when possible. I am having a season ticket this year and any games that we cant make, I will be giving to my in-laws..

I was there when we were shit, didn't have a season ticket last season for the 1st time in ages and i'm now getting one for next season, that's if i can get the bloody online ticket thing working.
Why all the big fuss over people getting season tickets now for the 1st time? They're all stoke fans and you might find that the reason they're getting season tickets this season rather than in other seasons is because they're worried that without season tickets that they may struggle to get tickets on a match day.

I think thats the reason for many people - and it is for me! I wont be able to make many midweek games but I want to be able to go to all the weekend games and several away games. Without a season ticket I doubt this would be easy and i cant imagine i'll struggle to find someone who wants to go to whatever games I miss!

i was a student in leicester. still managed to get to 15-20 home and away games per season but i havent had a season ticket for 3 years!
i dont think you can criticise anybody for not buying a season ticket to watch championship football. true stoke's season tickets have always been cheap, but people have better things to spend their money on to watch dross football against the likes of plymouth, barnsley, scunthorpe et al.

........ where were you when we were shit? Which particular "shit" time are you referring to? Bill Asprey? I had a s/t then Mills/Ball - I'd lost interest then Thordason - Got a wife and family and a business then (and lost interest) Pulis1/Boskamp - ditto Pulis2 - still not very interested and ditto Pulis3 - Getting more interested and no longer have a business so have more time to be a 'glory hunter' ;D

It really doesn't matter what the reasons are as long as people are investing in the club. Welcome all new and returning supporters. You can't all be like me 44 years old, 38 seasons on the trot, 20 odd season tickets.
Welcome back

I'd rather move around the ground so I don't have to sit next to the same set of idiots every week.
However, I am getting a few so I can be sure of taking some glory hunting friends to see the Arsenal and stuff.
