I don't see what Bardsley has done wrong to be dropped.

Lets hope we can get our noses in front playing towards the away end first half
then, follow this seasons convention by, playing the second half into the home end but,
With all us spectators craning our necks toward the tunnel end whilst watching our team retreat into their own half yet again, desperately trying to hang onto a slender league against yet another shit team
- that - if wed have had any balls whatsoever- we would be out of sight against
cant wait for the next painful - frustrating instalment
2016/17 definitely - a season to forget

This will be another tough game. Palace are doing OK on the road. They will defend deep and would take 0-0 now. We need to be out of the trap fast and score early - like the Everton game - their confidence is clearly fragile at the moment.
Neither team performed last week and both will have had a rocket. Could be a nail-biting afternoon and this game is by no means a gimme.
Couple of tricky selection issues. Midfield: Like Cobham, I believe it's more of a 4-3-3. Whelan has to player as the holder and I think the other 2 will be Allen and Adam. I would love to see Imbula play, but obviously don't know how he is or has looked in training. We have to get him back in the team sooner rather than later if it's going to work. Also, if Shaq is still out I think I would play Ramadan and reluctantly switch Arnie to the right. My team would be
Grant
Bardsley Shawcross Martins Idi Pieters
Adam Whelan Imbula
Shaqiri Crouch Arnautovic
I suspect Shaq might be out so Sobhi comes in and I guess Allen will start ahead of Imbula.
Berahino to come off the bench for the last 25.
If we score first and early I'm hoping for a 2 goal win.

His energy is great, he'll be encouraged to get close to Crouch when we attack and he'll hopefully keep Zaha occupied.
My only concern would be that it again we look a bit left sided, with all our creative threat coming through Arnie.

We need to win this, but I just cannot get exited by our line ups. Some of the above teams do not excite me at all. Sorry all, but that's how I feel at this moment in time! I've had a massive cob on after the West Brom game, and will (to say the least), be very, very unhappy if we lose this one!

Agree fella Playing Crouch in this one would be a big mistake as Sam will have 3 big lads at the back and 2 on Crouch just like Pulis did.

We should win this but I'm not feeling over confident after WBA. We certainly need to freshen things up and add some pace. I'd go with
........................Grant..................... Bards.......Ryan........Indi.........Eric ...............Whelan.....Adam............ .Shaq...............Imbula..........Arni.. ..........................Bony....................
I really feel like Crouchy and Allen need a rest. I'd love to see Imbula given the opportunity to play with 2 sitting deep behind him. I also think Bony holds the ball well and this game might suit him.

I'd just like to see a nice straightforward 4-4-2 for this one: Grant Johnson Shawcross Bruno Muniesa Arnie Whelan Adam Shaq Berahino Diouf Diouf are you having a laugh? the rest good team selection except where is Allen in the mix ? and I would use an inform Crouch then swop for Berahino later

Looks like Shaq's out again this weekend. The guys becoming a bit of a joke. Great talent but reliable isn't the word. I just hope TP shows a bit more ambition than he did against the Baggies and plays eiter Sobhi or Diouf out wide.

Tony Pulis left the club nearly 4 years ago mate, it's Mark Hughes now for better or worse.

Pretty solid with Whelan and Adam, but with Imbula for some running power(I haven't given up on him). Agree with you on Bony, too, although he gets slated on here. I like Crouch, but I think we need something different for these(and West Brom!).

After hearing the injury news I'd go
Grant Bards Ryan Indi Pieters Whelan Afellay (Anyone but Afellay) Allen Arnie Crouch
I love Charlie's pingers but he gets caught on the ball far too often although I think he'll probably start

I would go with
Grant Bardsley-Ryan-Indi-Eric Allen-Whelan N'Goy (or Sobhi)-Afellay-Arnie Saido
But I suspect Crouchy and Adam will start and bet Diouf comes in on the right wing

I'm 90% confident, the only nagging doubt is our shitty record against Palace. 2-1 - Arnie and a late Berahino winner coming off the bench....

Anyone else had an email from Stoke, from our fearless captain nontheless?
I don't know who the fucking hell the media team are trying to kid but I'm going to go on a hunch that Ryan said / wrote that.

I am 100% certain Sobhi won't start so the only real starting lineup question is Adam or Affelay, I wouldn't like to bet on that one.

Only 3 teams have conceded more than Palace this season,we need to be at them from the off,I don't care how many they score against us,so long has we score more than them.
