Thought he was excellent today MOM by a mile. Bullied our CB's the ball just stuck to him. Thought when we signed Bony we were getting similar. In his latter games I thought he was beginning to show similar strengths.

Gave Ryan and indi a battering. The whole core of there side was just far stronger than ours. Livermore was class aswell

Bony has never put in the sort of effort Rondon put in today. Can tell he doesn't want to pick up any injuries before the loan expires.

Pulis's recent signings are much more effective than ours, yet the experts on here laughed at them.

I'd be impressed if our transfer boys were capable of producing a signing like him .....not our style though.

I thought Ryan dealt with him fine, no problems. Won every header, won the ball whenever he tried to hold it up.
He absolutely battered Indi, though. We had one defender and three ghosts today.

He has become a beast under Pulis.
It's amazing how many players improve immeasurably with TP's coaching.
It's a knack Hughes simply doesn't possess.

He's nothing more than a Sidibe upgrade. Big, strong, workhorse. Does the donkey work to allow the likes of Chadli and Phillips to do the real damage. Not saying he's a bad player, but he's certainly not the stellar front-man that some are suggesting.
In fairness to Pulis, he has a tried and tested system and Rondon fits into it perfectly.

I agree, Ryan gave him no freedom at all! Even Indy did quite well when he was up against him, but Randon again showed his quality!

I thought Phillips was very good as well-especially in the first 60 odd minutes.
A player Pulis was after for a while-a bit like our courting of Berahino.

Yet Hughes gets the same players to finish higher than Pulis consistently, weird hey. This knack of Pulis also took Saido from the verges of the England squad to West Brom reserves let's see what Hughes does with him in the same period of time.
