Even going back to his Gillingham days?
It's early doors but we rarely come from behind to win games, so looks like our awful record against him will continue.
It's a strange and frustrating one.

Which game? Playoff semi? We beat them 3-2 in 2000. Was Pulis their manager then?

I think it's already safe to say we are not about to break our duck today either

I think I'm right in saying the first time we came up against one of his teams was Gillingham when we were relegated to the third tier in 1998. I can't recall us beating any of his sides since then.

Which game? Playoff semi? We beat them 3-2 in 2000. Was Pulis their manager then? Peter Taylor was in charge for the play off semi final in 2000. Pulis was in charge of Gills in 1998/99 when they equalised late on at the Brit and thumped us 4-0 away (very nearly 5-0 but I think Muggleton saved a penalty) The following season he managed Bristol City at the Brit in one of Megson's final games. They scored another late equaliser.

On 7th November 1992 we beat Bournemouth 2-0, with two from Steino (thanks Wikipedia). By my reckoning he would've be manager of Bournemouth at that point.

Most of them 1-0?
Fucking irritating.

Hughes didn't shake the Pulis hand Thought it was the other way around tbh. Pulis walked down the tunnel without going near Hughes.

Pulis has formed a better footballing side than Hughes, todays result reflects that.
We're all flair, no bollocks, when was the last time a Stoke player even considered taking his man on, never mind achieving it.

Well pulis has managed to rip hughes' credentials into shreds
I'd take pulis 6- hughes 0 had pulis gone on to manage FC Barcelona but palarse and the fuckin baggies !!!
Up to a few seasons ago the games against the baggies were a guarantee of 6 points each season

Pulis has formed a better footballing side than Hughes, todays result reflect that. Yet he was never the man to take us forward. I'd never have him back but that's the biggest load of bollocks I've ever heard. They're 8th, ffs!
