'The Champ'
When it showed up Hanley duck they had to keep the cinema house lights down after the film cos there were so many blokes crying - according to The Sentnull.

I had to hide after the Raymond Briggs' animated feature about his mum and dad that was on over Christmas so the kids wouldn't see me in tears.

Jaws!
Yes picture the scene it's 1976 and we've crammed into the tiny pictures in Stone to watch the latest blockbuster Jaws. The place was packed to the rafters.
The head falls out of the bottom of the boat and a gasp comes from everyone , except my exes sister who stands up and screams "F***ing Hell" at the top of her voice. well the whole room just burst out laughing the tears just rolled down my face. A priceless memory, never to forgotten moment.
Things are always funnier when you are 16

Just watched Deepwater Horizon.
Made me weepy. A bit "too close to home".
Good honest hard working people died because of "the man" and the two negligent BP goons got away with manslaughter.

Sounds sadly reminiscent of the Piper Alpha disaster, owners Occidental heavily criticised for inadequate maintenance and safety procedures by an Official enquiry yet escaping criminal charges.Though I've never watched the documentary 'Fire In The Night.'
