From a fans report on gaschat.
Sweeney 8.5 Looked just what we need - a physically strong centre half who wins the majority, if not all of the aerial tussles and certainly is quicker than any of the previous central defenders this season. He will be a great asset in the coming weeks and certainly looked quality today. How good he is will be easier to say in a months time but the signs are that we have a veruy good defender on our hands and only a goalline clearance stopped him opening his goal scoring account with a great header in the first half and he looked a danger at every set piece. Silly booking.

Interested in all of them. Except Jakob Why? He's done bloody well so far. Long may it continue. I agree. I thought he did fine in his first couple of games in the Cup and then totally crashed and burned when thrown into the league games. I'd like to think it was just lack of confidence, which he might recover away from the spot-light. Just one little problem...

Another factor is when he played our defence was pretty poor at the time, and it's a bit of a double edged sword really, a good defence makes a goalies life easier, and vica versa...Would be interesting to see him behind our new defencive duo of BMI & Ryan...I thing that pairing are every bit as good as Huth & Ryan.

I can't see any reason why anyone wouldn't want Jakob to do well? It's in the interest of every party that he does.
Yes, he had a shitter but if he can come through it, learn and improve to the level required then not only have we got a great keeper, we have one with a rock solid character.
If not, he goes back to Denmark and we lose very little.
Win - win.

Really hope Moha/Choulay has a great loan at hearts. He didn't get much time at his former loan, did he?

This is make or break for him. A shame, if so. Would be good for Ramadan to have Arabic-speaking team mates. (Affelay speaks Arabic too though I think.)

If we're being harsh he should come for the first two goals but he didn't but it is harsh and the pundits haven't blamed him but the full backs. I was eating a chicken sandwich for the third so didn't see it. The fourth he could do nowt about. .........indifferent!

Haugaard is hopeless and whilst he wouldn't be expected to save the 3rd, he drifted outside of his post so couldn't get back to save with his body.
His attempts at the disallowed goal at the end was laughable.

Haugaard only had to pick the ball out of his net. Sadly good crosses into the area he stays on his line.
Let in his routine 4. I did notice he does the opposite to keeper training make yourself big to stop the effort he bends backwards thus reducing the space he fills.

Looked great-until he actually had to do something-though to be fair many better keepers would probably have conceded 4.

Was it Gordon Banks who let in 6 or 7 in his first game? Gordon Marshall Hey Rawli, no relation to PhilR I take it? I was actually thinking of GB's first game, not his first Stoke game. Marshall would not be a good example of the point I was trying to make.

Moha didn't come on as Hearts beat Rangers 4-1
Abdallah came on for 20 minutes as Avranches progressed into the next round of the French cup.
