Position does sweeney play? Never heard of him. Centre half. We signed him from Wimbledon this summer. He played around 10 times for them last season.

Why? He's done bloody well so far. Long may it continue. Because he's woefully inadequate. Or he was thrown in at the deep end too soon and maybe with a bit of nurturing and development (he's still young for a goalkeeper) he can make it. And even if he doesn't, if he proves he can play in the Championship, which so far he has done then we might actually make money on him. So you should care!

He's exactly the kind of player you'd be ripping to shreds if he was ever in our first team squad. You're a walking contradiction my friend. But I suppose I love you. A little 😘

Couldn't see any other comments on that site (Gastalk)

Re Sweeney from Sky report
Centre-back Ryan Sweeney almost marked an impressive Rovers debut with a goal on 16 minutes, but Gladwin cleared his header off the line.

Sweeney looks a very powerful youth. He put in a good solid performance was unlucky with that header from a corner, got booked for deliberately obstructing their keeper. Looks very strong in the air, didn't do much wrong. If anyone wants to see him in action he will be appearimg at Vale Park on Sat 18th Feb, when we don't have a game. BM

No debut for Taylor at Rochdale who were mulled 4-0. I thought he was great in that everton singapore game, maybe he is being saved for the league? I was hoping he could really push Pieters this season

I forgot Wolly and Joselu.
Wolly of course didn't play.
Joselu was on the bench for Deportivo as they lost 3-1 to the mighty Eibar. He came on in the 73rd minute when the score was 3-1.
