Great read, from watching Aguero score the league winning goal v QPR and not having a pot to piss in to playing in the same side 4 years later, amazing story

As a shameless football hipster it's great to see The Players Tribune getting some love on here! I can also strongly recommend These Football Times & The Set Pieces as great alternatives to the mainstream football media outlets: thesefootballtimes.co/thesetpieces.com/

What football is all about - a young kid who grew up in poverty fulfilling his dreams, yet remembering where he came from. Quite a few of the Africans players give back to their communities back home - which is refreshing to see in today's self-obsessed and selfish society.

Amazing, thanks for uploading, sometimes you forget how lucky we are, every now and then something like this comes along and makes you realise, it's certainly changed my views on him, even though he plays for City I hope he goes on to achieve some great things

A great read that, thanks for posting. Heart warming stuff, and with my Stoke specs on puts me in mind of our Sir Stan and all the voluntary work he did in deprived parts of Africa providing free football coaching for the kids, and providing opportunities such as this.
