Should be N'goy not Crouch.
Otherwise that's about the best we've got at the moment.

Happy with that given what we have.

Fucking Crouch again, give Ngoy a go, he can't be any worse

No Affelay? Strange to bench our most in form player.

Pleasantly surprised with that but wow we need a striker in soon as possible.

Hoping the cameramen are on form as it's gonna be hard work to keep up with our counter attacking pace.
Predictable is about all i'll say.

Best we could hope for at the moment.

Not a bad team, we should expect to beat Sunderland. I would've put two strikers against them and put more pressure on their defence.

would have played Affelay myself for either Adam or Whelan, N'Goy was never going to start, hope he gets 30 mins up top but not holding out too much hope

The team picked itself and if Walters had been fit Shaqiri would have been on the bench imo as I forecast on the match thread earlier in the week

Zero pace and an average age of 64.

Allen in Adam's place, and Affelay in the hole would be my only starting change.
i'd really like to see Ngoy given more of a chance in the second half
also, i thought Muni was injured? must be ok if he's on the bench?

It's so strange, now that we actually have defensive cover on the bench, he decides to put Taylor on the bench too, when we had none he didn't put him in. Glad him and N'Goy are there at least though.
Meanwhile Shenton travels with the squad but doesn't make the bench?
And Crouch again of course.

we are very thin on the ground
Zero pace in that starting 11

Defence is going to have to gets its act together because opportunities at the other end will probably be few and far between.

The Sunderland central defense is very weak so Crouch hopefully can really exploit that.
N'Goy on at 70 mins to give them the runaround
0-2...3 points and get out of town!!

If we take a comfortable lead, i'd like to see Taylor get some game time.

we are very thin on the ground Zero pace in that starting 11 Which is a shame because their centre half pairing are pedestrian at best

After seeing how much we laboured using 4-2-3-1 last week I'd have preferred us to go 3-4-3 again with either Johnson or Bardsley getting Diouf's wing back role.
Not sure Adam should be in ahead of Afellay either.
Let's see how it pans out though.

Adam had better behave himself.

Good balance though I would have had Affelay ahead of Adam. Would imagine it'll be
.......................Grant..................... J'son..........Ryan.....Indi.........Eric .................Adam......Whelan........ Shaq.................Allen............Arni
..........................Crouch..............

I''d look to bring on Afellay on 60 once Charlie is on a booking and blowing out of his rear end. He'll help with ball retention if we need someone to put a foot on it.

I think it's safe to say that if Ryan and bmi contain Defoe for 90 it'll be a fucking miracle. My head says 2-0, my gut isv saying we'll hammer them

Think Hughes knows Adam has got a decent ball in him but can only do 50 mins, Afellay will replace him at some point
Just hope more than anything that 4 at the back works today so Hughes fucks the wingback idea off
