Omg, Sky really are milking this Merseyside-Manchester hype up aren't they. I hope as per the usual hyped up matches they cover both turn out being drab affairs. Be glad when it's all done with. Then I suppose they'll be back to hammering the Transfer Window and trying to make it far more exciting than it actually is.

You'd have thought they'd learn the lesson from 'red Monday'

As a long term customer it strikes me that Sky are getting Increasingly desperate. They go completely over the top with the events they have because they are losing more and more quality sport to competitors (e.g I'm currently watching the Big Bash on C5 which is T20 at its absolute best and has been taken from them by BT). Vast chunks of Sky Sports airtime is taken up by either long forgotten events (Darts Gold for heavens sake!!) or multiple repeats of what fixtures they have. It's all a bit dull and probably not worth the cost.

Dan Walker on Football Focus just said it's billed as Merseyside vs Manchester but all teams supporters don't want their rivals to win so this is hardly the case! It's Skhype bullshit!

They have had the count down hours and minutes on their big screen this week as if it's England in a world cup final

They might be a business but they never used to be as bad/cheesy at bulling games up as they've got lately.. As has been mentioned, a raft of leaving customers is forcing them to spruce games up to the same standard as big pay per view boxing matches.

They are to blame for the state of the game at the minute in this country and the sooner they fuck off the better

Bloody Hell...what do expect from Sky Sports???.....you been living on a different planet for the last 20 years!
Its called marketing...they don't care much what a few Stokies think...there a hundreds of thousands of Utd and Liverpool supporters out there.
Utd have an estimated 300 million self declared supporters in the world!!!.. other estimates have put it higher than that
I worked for a Children's charity in East Africa for sometime and Man Utd merchandise was was top of the wish lists of nearly every kid there.
Anyway, Sky has always been annoying

Well it is PPV that they are selling, if you buy one of those sport passes on Nowtv for the match they will have sold you PPV event.
