Nothing like a bit of gratuitous homophobia to keep the board ticking over on a quiet news day.
Regarding a move to Nice I did not think it was permissible for a player to turn out for more than two teams in a single season? Having played for both Stoke and Wolfsburg this season I thought he only had two options - stay or return.

He's stuck between 2 teams who don't want him and is being paid £30,000+-a-week into the bargain. Nice work if you can get it. It'll be interesting to see if we recall him as presumably that'd mean we have to pay his wages for the next 6 months, so we're quite within our rights to leave him registered there, where he may not even be required to turn up to training. 6 month paid vacation for the Wollster?

Keep up dear boy😄 Currently under the FIFA Transfer Regulations a football player is unable to play for more than three teams in one season. ... As long as a player has represented a club in a league under the adjudication of a FIFA Member Association they will only be able to play for three different clubs.

The rule. Players may be registered for a maximum of three clubs during the period from 1 July until 30 June of the following year. During this period, the player is only eligible to play in Official Matches for two clubs.
So having played for Stoke and Wolfsburg - he could be sold to another team - but would not be able to play for them. He could of course be loaned back to either one and play (no snidey comments from the back please) So Crouchy - if you can't be arsed turning up to games these days you could at least use the time for a little research!!

Wolfsburg seem to confirm the only options for Wolly are not playing there or not playing here.... www.neuepresse.de/Sport/Regional/Henrique-und-Wollscheid-Wechselkandidaten-beim-VfLFor Wollscheid only a premature end of the rental business with Stoke City is considered, as a transfer to a third club this season is no longer possible. "This is currently the result," said Rebbe. Coach Valérien Ismaël added: "The transfer window is open, everything can happen."
