Any guesses for who said this just 12 months ago.... NOT FOR SALE!!!! The words coming from Sparkys mouth throughout January I hope. Arnie, Bojan, Shaqiri, Butland, Cameron.......wonderful football from those lads today once again. We're gonna have a fair few clubs come sniffing. FUCK OFF! Funny. 12 months ago was Hughes' peak, it was all crash and burn from then. A peak of three 9th place finishes and we are currently 11th. Plenty of ups and downs before and plenty more to come. A few players think they are bigger than the club, which is unfortunate, but I'm sure Mark Hughes will sort it out. A good transfer window now and we'll be fine. |

Can't see any of those 3 being here next season.
And it's probably for the best.
There'd be takers at decent money for Shaq, takers at reasonable money for Bojan, but God knows who'd be in for Imbula, with the sunk costs we've got there.

I actually asked someone at the game if there were scouts at today's game against a 2nd chocie Wolves team.How many Stoke players would you buy.There was a couple of Wolves players I would take a chance on the No 18 for one.

Why not make them work in the side, instead? That would be more valuable. Because that would involve bojan and shaq actually having to be bothered to do some actual bloody work. |

Shaqiri is a big name, well known so if we could. Tube some Chinese tv presenter to play his goal against Poland in the Euros over and over again who knows we might get some crazy money from a Chinese team

From today's performance it looks like Bojan's already gone. His fee was fairly modest which reflects his true worth. We won't get much for him but we'll save a good few quid on the wage bill.
If we make a 20% loss on Shaqiri we'll get about £9.5 million.
I dread to think what we'd get for Imbula. He's half the player that Dean Whitehead was so about £2.5 million😕
