I was given a Firestick for Christmas which has the Kodi app installed. I want to watch the Stoke games on my TV. The Kodi site tells me which stations are streaming the game but when I open the app there are 100's os stations and there isn't a search facility. Any of you guys that use Kodi hgow do you find the right stream?

You need to load the Mobdro app which has a sports channels option. BEIN Sports (one of the featured options) has several channels and each one seems to show a different Premier League game on match days. You find the one you want by trial and error. That's how we watched it yesterday anyway.
Hope this helps

I use sportsmania its £50 a year but always great quality streams. I've bought sportsmania for 3 months and am finding it very inconsistent. No problem at all watching Watford/Spurs at the moment - been trouble free all afternoon. Yesterday though I couldn't get the Stoke match to stay on; picture kept freezing, and when tried restarting I kept getting site unavailable. I gave up in the end and watched one of the links posted on Oatcake on a small screen trouble free. Any advice what to do anyone? I generally watch lower definition when there is a choice as my broadband speed is usually 10-12Mb 14+ at the moment so maybe that is why the Watford match is OK?

Apparently they are doing some vital work to the Addon mate.I have been in contact with them via Facebook and they assured me it is needed to update the App. I have been using the Addon all season and have only had a problem over the last 10 days . Should be plain sailing from now on so fingers crossed.

I watched the game yesterday on Kodi. I used the SPORT365.Live stream under PHOENIX. The following add-ons have good sports channels:- ZEMTV - HALOW LiveTV - CASTAWAY - BULLDOG Streams - UK Turks. The following link details upcomming matches on Kodi. bestforkodi.com/upcoming-football-on-kodi/

Thanks guys for all your suggestions. I've had a look on my Firestick menus and this is what I found: towrayteck - I found three Bein channels so I assume it's a case of checking which match they're showing on a particular day. I assuming they showed the game yesterday because it was Chelsea
thebrit - how did you find it on Modbro?I have that installed as well.
ianbuckley - couldn't find any of the add on or channels you mention. Found the site you mention, just a case of how do I find the channel? There seem to be hundreds listed and no search facility to find the one you want.
Seems OK for Sky Sports and BT Sports but Stoke aren't always on there.I tnink I'll have to find someone that's got a Firestick and see if they can come and talk me through how to find Stoke matches.
Thanks again guys, any other useful comments would be appreciated. I know this isn't strictly a SCFC thread but I want to watch all the games. At 72 and with cancer it's hard to get to the matches.

You could look for the streams in JoeinOz thread on matchdays and get an HDMI cable plugged into your TV and laptop to enable you to watch on your tele. Wilko's sell the cables for around £5.

Thanks nott1. That's how I used to do it but I was given the Firestick and told I pick up the streams on that. As I've said it's just a question of finding the right one.

We've got a Firestick but apart from the standard menu I can't find Kodi on it at all. How can I check if it's loaded, and if it isn't how can I load it onto the Firestick ?
Thanks for any help.

Firstly have you got Kodi loaded onto your stick? If not find somebody who can do it for you. A guy in my village does it for a nominal fee.
Assuming that you can get into Kodi which hopefully is already loaded onto your stick;
Go into the Kodi home page
Videos
The page should then show a variety of Icons at the bottom which are links to the addons already loaded.
For Football I normally go either through Phoenix or PREFRABLY Sports devil.
Once in Sportsdevil at the moment I Am finding diminouorts quite good.
Alternative I have recently discovered is via Phoenix ,sports, USA tv channels, often end up on NBC.
I have had my stick for 18 months and love it. Never missed a Stoke away game and the movies and TVs box sets are excellent.
Enjoy and let us know how you get on.

If you search on google "best for football on Kodi" one of the results will be seo-michael. If you choose this and follow the instructions you'll find they are really easy to install. I'm a technophobe too, and have no trouble watching Stoke matches. On match day, go on www.liveonsat.com and choose Premier League, or the England flag, and this lists which channels are showing the matches.

I have an IPTV subscription and watch any game in HD with no buffering and all in HD, plus all regular Sky and BT channels through a kodi add on on a firestick. Huge on selection of films and TV series included. No brainer for a quid a week.
