...gave Chelsea one of their toughest tests this season." They were "organised and disciplined at the back," and "threatened at the other end", giving Chelsea a "brutal test". Stoke's "spirit was not broken" and they "threw everything" at Chelsea. From the Beeb report of the game. Does this sound like the game people on here watched?

Spirited and valiant losers again, how many relegated teams have been given the same label? We could have got something from this match and we fucked it up again! Gouranga.

I wouldn't exactly go that far but we did give it a good go. Basic errors again, bleedin Bojan wants his arse kicking over doing it on the edge of your own box and Indi was just weak! Better though but there alot to be done.

I thought we played well, just out classed. Nothing like the second half no show against Lestar or the bin dippers.

Spirited and valiant yes
Never broken yes
Organized and disciplined in defence - we wouldn't have conceded 4 if we were

I pretty much agree with this. We handed Liverpool their 3 points the other day, Chelsea had to fight like fuck for their 3 points today.

Brave charitable Stoke more fitting.
Gave it a good go, played with fight but ultimately gave them 3 points with more defending that you'd expect to see down your local on a Sunday morning.
We cannot afford to give any team the goals we are giving away at the moment.

I think the assessment in generally right apart from describing the defence as organised and disciplined. The second (I think) goal conceded was definitely down to lack of discipline, Johnson should have stayed on his post. Pieters lost his man for another. Indi let the ball bounce for another. Finally, Cahill was allowed to get to head a corner which he should not have been; how many times have we let that happen in 2016?.
But we attacked well at times, although we did give them the ball a lot.
We will play worse and win.

The media love teams who give the big boys a game then lose For all our good play and spirit we conceded 3 schoolboy goals the one for 3-2 was shocking in terms of discipline please stop defending the indefensible 2016 has been a woeful year and the club needs a real big kick up the back side

We scored 2 and if it wasn't for a superb defensive display from azpilacueta we could have had a couple more. We gave Chelsea a bloody good game today and we lost to who will be IMO the champions.

Much as I hate (really hate) to say it, I think Manure are going to have a massive say in the title race. From what I've seen, they are starting to come good. The points gap maybe big at this moment in time, but like most teams Chelsea could have a blip.

Why does thinking the current situation is untenable mean I want Pulis back? I certainly don't, for the record. Like Hughes, he was a great manager for us, but like Hughes he got to the point where basically he had to go.

I would rather Hughes be remembered for three ninth place finishes, rather than for ending our stay in the premier league. Because I believe that if Hughes manages to avoid relegation this season, he certainly won't next season. We are in trouble.
Clearly he's going to get another window. I doubt much will actually happen and we will limp on. We might survive, we might not, I'm inclined to think we will, just. But who wants relegation battles? We are worse than we were in Pulis's final season.

Don't agree, we are a better side than the pulis team, some issues in defence, sadly ryan is struggling with his game. I expect a centre half to be added once we sign indi. we have played Liverpool and Chelsea, lets see how we perform in the next few league games.
I have supported the potters 50 years, we are not a relegation outfit. Complacency is our main issue, players are too comfortable, probably Hughes is to blame for that, things will change if his job is threatened, just like earlier in the season. Mid table finish as usual.
