Starts 14th January 2017 I believe. Final is on 5th February 2017. According to wiki: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Africa_Cup_of_Nations#DrawSo you'd think they will be available for the Watford game. I assume if they get knocked out they'll be home sooner than 5th Feb?

Different nations have training camps at different times and within that have different times they want players going. They can be called up 2 weeks before the first game.

Seems ironic to want to hold Sobi back when he has hardly used him all season so far.

Stoke request to keep Ramadan was denied but Hull request for Elmohamady was accepted. Hull have been playing Elmohamady regularly. Perhaps had we done likewise with Ramadan our request would've been accepted. The Egyptian FA probably think that we won't miss him if we're not playing him!?

Hull play 29 hours earlier than us, so probably explains the different stance before the conspiracy theorists start.....

Personally I don't blame Egypt in the slightest.
You reap what you sow. Had he played regularly I could understand our request, but for him to sit on the bench, or not be chosen at all, I can understand them wanting him to be with their squad.
