I'm expecting us to lose by 3 or more goals, but I'm very excited nonetheless because this will be my first match I've ever seen in person. 😀

Imbula tracked back a little more and broke up play well against Liverpool. Uncharacteristicly, he was poor on the ball - maybe an off day, maybe cracked under Liverpool's pressing game.
I think he should start against Chelsea though, as he put in pretty much a perfect performance there last year.
Grant Diouf Johnson Muni Bruno Pieters Allen Whelan Imbula Shaqiri/Bojan Any striker.

I would play a formation that was once used a very long time ago, 4-4-2. For some reason we have to fuck about with these dimaonds/Xmas tree formations but this really did work
Grant Johnson- Ryan- Indi-Muni Shaq-Allen-Afellay-Ramadan Bony-Bojan
I would drop Walters, Whelan (who has been poor), Imbula wouldn't make the bench for me and I would stick the likes of N'Goy, Lecygne and Verlinden on the bench along with Adam, Walters and Diouf........Cant understand our current starting line ups and bench's right now

Keep Diouf on the right where he has excelled lately and put Bony up top, shaqiri benched and it'd look better. Excelled? He's run a lot, and basically been a right back (and competed well) when we've had our backs to the wall. He's a striker by trade. The only thing he does give you over Shaqiri, is work rate, but that's not hard. If Diouf has been excellent lately, we have problems don't we?? Diouf will never be a premier league striker he simply doesn't have the attributes required. He does however have the attributes to make a fine right winger, he is quick he can cross he is tenacious, has a great attitude and he can nick the odd goal. I'm not sure what more you want from him there. Shaqiri on the other hand is not the answer on the right and never will be. If he's going to make it in the premier league it will be in the middle .

He just can't play the lone striker role but he's been a revelation on the right especially when you consider he's been playing as a wing back. We need to go 433, Bony up top Arnie and Diouf wide.

He's currently our best option up there, Hughes tactics means we need someone to hold the ball up and he's the best we have. There's a top premier league player in there as he showed at Swansea we just need to get him firing. Get Lucas in from Liverpool and you've got a midfield of Lucas, Allen and Shaqiri and a decent centre back as cover and I think things would look a lot better.

Maybe so mate I don't bloody know anymore, maybe Bony will get his chance, all I know is all this chopping and changing has screwed us over and we haven't had a settled side in a long while which is a big part of the problem, its gone past squad rotation its just crazy!

Grant
Johnson Shawcross Indi Pieters
Whelan Imbula Allen
Shaq Bojan Walters
If we play the 3 at the back, we can't keep Johnson as a centre half, given away far too many goals recently.

Any chance Johnson could play on the right in front of Bardsley to try and minimise the threat of Hazard and also give us something going the other way?

MH has to get it into their heads that they can get something out of this and not look shagged out after 20 minutes then get walked over. My glass is always half full but...

We may do well for a bit, and then either a piece of pure brilliance, or a clanger by us (again) will open the flood gates. Watford is the big deal for us!

Do we have any chance what so ever?! This could be the least confident Ive ever felt about an upcoming game. Changes are certainly needed Grant Johnson Ryan Bruno Muni (if fit) Whelan Adam Shaq Allen Bojan Bony Of course we have a chance. Grant Johnson, Ryan, Indi, pieters Whelan, Adam Shaqiri, afellay, sobhi Diouf/bojan That team, with Allen replacing afellay after 60 minutes, would win the game comfortably
