Exactly the same here, although I do chipolatas wrapped in bacon rather than sausagemeat balls as I put sausagemeat in the stuffing. But also chestnuts in with the sprouts. And as well as roasties I do mashed potatoes done with onion, beaten eggs and parsley then cooked in the oven. If I can be bothered I do leeks in a cheesy sauce with yoghourt, and baked till the sauce catches with a bit of brown on the top. Nom nom nom.......

The Guardia Civil on Friday will be NO PROB - I shall just dazzle them with my superb command of their lingo. 'Holaaaaaaaaa, muchachos' is what I will purr at them to start with. - Which reminds me, next time you go back over there, make sure you greet each one of them with 'Hideputa'. They'll love you for it!

Duck. Well two ducks this year with the crispy duck and pancake leftover for the farty 7 o'clock 'i couldn't possibly, oh go on then' thing.
Hope it doesn't go to plan and I conspire to end up drinking more than I devour.
Nice guest list for this xmas day since me mum's joined the Hell's Angel chapter.
It'll be rayt.

Turkey, pork, sprouts (under protest from the rest of my family) carrots, parsnips (as per sprouts) baked and mashed potatoes, stuffing complete with nuts, sausage mince, bacon and chestnuts. Chicken giblets based gravy, and lots of crackling and of course cranberry sauce. Christmas pud with either brandy sauce, custard or ice cream (an Aussie bent to dessert)
This is one day when I insist on a traditional lunch and dismiss the thoughts of cold meats, king prawns and the like. I get to do the cooking - no-one volunteers, especially if the temperature rises above 30C

Turkey, roasties, roasted parsnips, carrots, sprouts, home made stuffing, pigs in blankets, proper home made gravy. Christmas pud.
Loads of it, washed down with a crate of wine. Post and cheese platter later. Some ice wine.
Deep carb coma after that.
Followed by intense sprouty farts, naps, and more beverages.

Oh - and not forgetting pigs in blankets and stuffing What's going down your gullet? V similar to us Duchy, although Mar Lady puts maple syrup on parsnips & she has to have cauliflower cheese, cause she is veggie. However, I scoffed at MrsBath when she suggested pigs in blankets, cause I don't think they go right with beef...
