Yes we all agree that today was pathetic & that the manager & the players need to have a good look at themselves after the shambolic 2nd half they served up today.
But given how the other results have gone so far, with Watford losing, West Brom 1-0 down against United, & hopefully with a draw between Bournemouth & Southampton tomorrow & Liverpool beating Everton on Monday, that should see us just 2 points behind 7th place. I know it probably doesn't mean anything since we now go up against Liverpool & Chelsea but at least it's good to know we're not that far behind. 2 defeats in 11 is not all that bad if you think about it.

I think we ran out of gasoline following our own 10 man heroics in midweek and Leicester had the extra days rest too after playing on Tuesday. Bitterly disappointing though, 2 seasons running now we have pissed a 2 goal lead up the wall against the clowns of Leicester

I think we ran out of gasoline following our own 10 man heroics in midweek and Leicester had the extra days rest too after playing on Tuesday. Really annoying though, 2 seasons running now we have pissed a 2 goal lead up the wall against the clowns of Leicester That's what substitutes are for! I agree 100% with original poster, but to blame the fixture list/Arnie's sending off or anything else other than a shit second half display by the entire team and manager, is giving them too much credit. What the hell is wrong with pushing for a 5 or 6 goal victory to correct our goal difference? Why not bring on Shaq & ramadan for Whelan & Walters after 60 minutes? The casual approach to the game just stank of "all we have to do is be on the field and we will probably score another 1 or 2". Poor Poor show in second half, but, it's not the end of the world.

Today was just just a symptom of a longer term malaise concerning injuries to an already inbalanced squad. We get by but we are a long way from being a good team, equally we are a long way from being the worst team in the league.

It would feel like it, if some got their wish and Pulis came back.

I don't give a flying fuck about other teams and at this precise moment it feels like the end of the world

Totally unbalanced squad- something like 10 forward thinking players and strikers who can't manage 20 goals between them.A midfield with one defensive player whose best days are long gone while those around him show no desire to pass the ball forward. No player who can fulfill the left wing back role if we play 3 at the back and finally no pace at all in the team. It would also help if someone pointed out MH that substitutes are there to make a difference-not just to fill thedug out.

I think we were Ok till we conceded the first, but then we seemed to become really scared and it was only a matter of time before they would equalize!

As I have said elswhere, we have been prone to this for most of the 55 years I have watched Stoke, regardless of players or managers. We seem to relax, we ought to concntrate our charitable efforts to Donna Louise or others and not the team we re playing
